Appearance
Jorik is a striking Twi'lek, his build lean and athletic, the result of both forced labor and being displayed like a prized ornament. His skin is a dusky shade of blue, his lekku long and clasped with decorative golden bands that mark his ownership. A thin gold collar etched with Huttese script rests at his throat, a constant reminder of his bondage.
He dresses at Barzhura's whim—sometimes shirtless with only ornamental chains, other times wrapped in silks that display her wealth. His pale eyes are usually lowered, but defiance flickers in them when unobserved.
Personality
On the surface, Jorik is the perfect servant: graceful, polite, and soft-spoken. He adapts quickly to the moods of those around him, soothing egos and avoiding offense.
Privately, he is watchful, intelligent, and quietly bitter. A dry wit lingers beneath his calm exterior. He endures not because he accepts his chains, but because he dreams of breaking them.

Background
Jorik Chaven was born in the subterranean city of Koralek, a settlement carved into Ryloth's jagged cliffs. Life in Koralek was harsh—water filtered through mineral-choked stone, crops withered in poor soil, and trade was dominated by predatory offworld merchants.
His family, poor and desperate, bartered him into servitude in exchange for survival. Taken offworld as a youth, he passed from master to master until Barzhura the Hutt claimed him during one of her infamous feasts. Amused by his wit and appearance, she purchased him for her household.
Now Jorik serves in Barzhura's palace—attending feasts, guiding slaves in ceremonial processions, and standing as a symbol of her power. Though obedient in appearance, resentment smolders beneath the surface. For now, he survives by enduring, waiting, and watching.
