Swashbuckler- Trenway is a fighter, having lived most of his life fighting, from the schoolyard that he was eventually kicked out of to crowded hallways, laying waste to cargo ships hauling valuables.
Charming- John knows how to put the charm on people. He has the gift of glib, and followers are never difficult to come by.
Cybernetic Enhancements- The pirate lost an arm and a leg throughout the course of his career and had them replaced by machinery, making him a cyborg. His arm is now especially useful, as it can house a multitude of various gadgets- and weapons.
Greed- John's love of money and material wealth has him often screwing people over- some of those people good friends.
Soft Spot- Often, with exceptional individuals, or people that he sees a little bit of himself in, he will grow a soft spot for them. If, for whatever reason, they need to be eliminated, it would be much harder for the pirate.
APPEARANCE:
John is a tall, muscular man with an easygoing smile and a genuinely warm face and demeanor. He often sports a long, brown beard, although he has been known to shave it from time to time to remain inconspicuous. A good amount of scars cover his body, earned from various battles throughout his long career. He's not one to be flashy with his wealth, but from time to time the pirate will dress up. Most of the time, however, he can be found in a simple long coat, blasters holstered by his side. Trenway's mechanical leg and arm are his two most noteworthy traits. Opting for the obvious metal exterior instead of a synthetic flesh cybernetic, John's arm and leg are bulky, and for a reason-they house many of his most powerful tools and weapons.
BIOGRAPHY:
John Nathaniel Trenway was born in Corellia to a mother who didn't want him and an absent father. Growing up in the spaceports, all John would ever dream about would be getting on one of those cruisers and flying off to explore the galaxy. One day, when he was expelled from school for fighting, the young adventurer decided to do just that. And so the boy went, traveling as a stowaway, visiting different planets and stealing to stay alive. Seeking the thrill of the hunt, John joined up with a budding pirate group and quickly used his guile and overpowering charisma, useful skills as a stowaway and homeless child, to take charge of the swashbucklers. Trenway was a man now, and his deeds had spread by word of mouth all over the Outer Rim, where lawlessness was law. Many treasure flotillas fell prey to John's ship, The Free and Unrestrained, and many battles would the young pirate participate in, including an ill-fated raid that led to the death of nearly his entire crew and the loss of his right arm and right leg. But it was no matter. Both the crew and limbs were replaced, and his drive for treasure grew only stronger...
