STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

[+] Strong Attunement (Racial) - Jidu's racial origins gives him a powerful connection to the Force.

[+] Wise - Having spent two centuries in the galaxy, Jidu has become very worldly and learned. However, this can sometimes make him seem distant or melancholic.

[+] Nimble - His small physique, coupled with his connection to the Force, can make Jidu move at a quick and flexible pace when required.

[+] Observant - Silent and watchful, Jidu is always aware and this often gives him and edge in many situations.

[-] Physically Weak - Jidu's small stature can leave him challenged in certain circumstances, and he often has to rely on the Force to make up for it.

[-] Distant - For all of his wisdom and intelligence, Jidu prefers introversion to extraversion and is often difficult to get to open up.
[-] Traumatised - Having experienced the horrors of the Abyss of Ruh on Tython, Jidu sometimes struggles to suppress the inner demons that threaten to cloud his mind.

APPEARANCE:
Though humble in height, Jiduveda emanates a peculiar and mystifying energy. With pale green skin and deep emerald eyes that stare deep into the past and the future, his face is weathered from experience and time, his expression grim, melancholic and pensive. Long, thin, silvery green hair falls down the top of his back - several batches of it twisted into dreadlocks - and tucked behind two tall ears that protrude sharply over his head. He is often garbed in a rough grey-green hooded robe and tunic adorned with various accessories and charms symbolic of Jidu's spiritual journey acquired from centuries of travel. Because of his clothes, he is often mistaken for a Jedi.

BIOGRAPHY:
A pilgrim and a traveller, Jiduveda practices deep devotion to the Force in all aspects of his life. A profound and solitary individual who seldom speaks but always listens and watches, Jidu's life is dedicated to understanding the Force in its many aspects, though his fundamental personal tenets align themselves reasonably with those of many Jedi codes. At the core, he would profess that the four core values of his life practice involve; diligence, patience, temperance and humility. Thus, Jidu aspires to maintain an honourable, humble and dedicated life of servitude to what he would frequently call the 'Great Powers', otherwise known as the Force.

Adopted and trained as a Jedi from a young age by the Jedi Master Ilias Nytrau at his secret academy during the Four Hundred Year Darkness, Jiduveda's aptitude and strength with the Force has always been clear, and as an adolescent he excelled in his training.

As he grew older he frequently found that the journey into such practices and studies in such a formalised and systematic way proved limiting to his own journey and that in order to efficiently and properly serve and learn from the Force he had to experience the outworld galaxy, thus he left the Jedi Order in search of his own path and has since been wandering alone for over 150 years.

For a time shortly after his departure from the Order, a young and inexperienced Jidu joined a small band of vagrants and pilgrims who travelled from system to system in search of ancient planets that resonated with the Force, and it was during this time he discovered the mysterious world of the then-unoccupied Tython. Though savaged countlessly by the winds of time and the countless beasts it bore, the planet offered profound meditative results for the young student, and it was within the Abyss of Ruh where he first began to understand the complexity, richness, power and danger that the Force could offer; a beast of life and death in equal measure. Such experiences never left him, and the scars rendered upon his soul remain fresh to him to this day.

Nearly a decade later, Jidu sought to find his own way again and departed from the group to focus on his own practice of solitary asceticism.
