Jett Aurin was born on a tiny, unremarkable planetoid at the edge of the Outer Rim to colonists who bought into the idea that you can start a new life, where nothing bad can find you. That was the dream, anyway. But the thing is... There's always something lurking in the darkness. At 17, Jett awoke to find everyone dead. All of them, killed by a monster born of the Force and made of nothing else. She managed to run, but no matter where she goes, it finds her. Eventually.
