Biography:
Born on the planet of Natinati on the edges of Wildspace, Jemmila, originally of Hapan descent was adopted as an orphan by a fairly average family comprised of a Chiss and a Twi’lek. Raised in a close-knit nurturing environment, she also had a younger sister named Mallisi, a Cathar. Only one year apart in age, the two sisters were incredibly close. The finishing-each-other's-sentences and secret languages kind of close. In fact, the siblings were inseparable until they reached adulthood. Although Jemmila was only a years older than her adopted Cathar sibling, she was intensely protective of her younger sister, but as the young Hapan woman grew into adulthood, her protectiveness became more and more overbearing, causing friction between the sisters and eventually an ocean of distance. The two ended up going their separate ways, and when Mallisi joined the Jedi Order, her older sibling perceived it as the ultimate betrayal.
Like her younger sister, Jemmila discovered her Force sensitivity at an early age and thus exploring her Force powers became another preoccupation over the years. Where both sisters were gifted with excellent discipline, Jemmila did not possess a bleeding heart for the downtrodden of the galaxy, and was deficient in the empathy necessary to embrace the Jedi way. Instead she embraced her own anger, obsessions, and psychosexual issues, and the more she wandered across the galaxy, the more these traits consumed her, raking fertile ground for the Dark Side of the Force to take root.
With too many neuroses to know what to do with, Jemmila traveled the galaxy like a vagabond for a few months, finally stopping at Coruscant. During an attempt to buy some spice, she was rounded up in a raid on a homeless shantytown on Level 1289, Sector A. Dragged out in front of [member="Darth Adekos"] by his stormtroopers, the Force sensitive was given an opportunity and a challenge, to train with the Sith Lord as his apprentice. The alluring promise of transcendence from a bourgeois life, led the Hapan to accept the deal, and she soon began her Sith training on Darth Adekos' battleship, the Machinator.
When her Master, now known only as Adekos joined the Techno Union's Obsidian Order, Jemmila followed, a dutiful, if stormy, apprentice. With the fate of Geonosis hanging in the balance, due to an ongoing war between the Techno Union and the Rebel Alliance, Jem eventually was drawn into battle. She fought alongside Adekos during the second Invasion of Geonosis, using her highly-skilled telekinetic powers to help thwart Rebel Alliance attacks and eventually claim the planet in the name of the Techno Union.
Shortly thereafter, life changed dramatically for the Hapan Force Adept. One day, while seaching for lightsaber crystals in the Crystal Caves on Dantooine, Jemmila was attacked by a Sith Lord who kidnapped her and took her captive on his Monitor-Class Corvette. Before the Sith Lord, whose name she never heard, could fully corrupt the Dark Jedi Padawan, the ship hit an electrical storm and crashed on the planet of Echoy'la in Primeval Space. She was rescued from a fiery death by a Primeval Warlord named Vheissu Ireles. While at first she was his captive, eventually Jemmila became his pupil. The Warlord forced her through innumerable trials, such as walking on durasteel beams over molten lava so that the Apprentice could learn the arts of elementalism. Once she mastered the gifts of Fire, Wind, and Water-Shaping, she was pronounced a Knight. As Ireles' Knight, Jemmila was once again called upon to fight, this time for the Primeval on Wayland against the Mandalorians. The Warlords were ultimately victorious, but the brutal things she saw in combat had left the elementalist confused and traumatized. To make matters worse, she was separated from Ireles on Wayland, and never saw or heard from him again. The unexplained abandonment, coupled with post-traumatic stress of war, spun the woman into a depression that spiraled further into a deep psychosis. She found herself lost, without a home or friends. She turned her confusion, anger, and sadness inward, and began to study the teachings of the Seekers of the Rift on Bastion.
An existential crisis along with Dark Sided corruption made Jem's mind a sponge for indoctrination. She changed her name to Zola, and shed the skin of her former life, only to become initiated into the ranks of the Primeval worshipers of Sargon. Using shadows and subterfuge, she began to work for the sect, helping to open the eyes of nonbelievers so that they might know Sargon's love and power as she did.
What better person to help the galaxy find the Truth than one who was lost herself?
