Strengths:
- Can Increase Force Sensitivity: If the consumer of the stimulant happens to be Force Sensitive, the liquid can cause them to experience a clearer connection to the Force during the duration of the effects. This does not apply to people who have already mastered their connection.

What wasn't planned was a controversial idea to add elements that could boost someone's sensitivity to the Force.
For the 'light' variant of the drug, 'Jedi's Tear' as they are beginning to call it on the black market, consuming the serum gives any normal user a state of euphoria and calmness, allowing them to feel like they are on the top of the world for twelve hours. A Force sensitive who consumes Jedi's Tear would feel their connection to the Force strengthened slightly, as well as those who wield the Light Side of the Force would also have their aptitude to use powers that their already know heightened.
Another advantageous effect that both Non Force Sensitives and Force Sensitives alike experience is increased strength, enough to be noticeable without allowing the consume to achieve feats such as lifting starfighters without aid from technology or the Force. With good effects come bad ones as well;
After the twelve hour period of effects after oral consumption, users will begin to be affected by 'withdrawal' symptoms, such as pain, coughing, vomiting, fevers, lethargy, paranoia, and gastrointestinal distress. The only way to prematurely cure these ailments is to consume another vial of Jedi's Tear.
This, coupled with the withdrawal symptoms caused by the body's temporary dependence of the drug, has pushed regular users of Jedi's Tear to administer it at every possible interval as to avoid these symptoms for as long as possible, creating a 'need' for it in their lives that have them resort to any means to acquire it.
The most dangerous effects of Jedi's Tear comes only if someone were to drink more than one vial in a twelve hour period, which causes deadly consequences that are only limited by death. They include a temporary severance of a Force Sensitive's connection to the Force, to loss of consciousness, psychosis, uncontrollable rage, and internal hemorrhaging within a user.
