Special Features: None

Maneuverability Rating: 10
Speed Rating: 8
Hyperdrive Class: 0.5

Strengths:
[ Speeeeed iss Keeey ] ~ The most notable thing about this ship, besides little to no real battle usage, is the immense speed capabilities. It can achieve hairpin turns, has impeccable speed, and an incredible Hyperdrive
Weaknesses:
[ You Sunk My Ship! ] ~ This ship is for recon, at best, concerning battle. It cannot take multiple hits, has little to zero arms, and no hangars

Description: This is the first of the MSI ships to be produced, one in which search and rescue was most notably in mind. It has less than basic weaponry, only slightly better defensive hull and shielding. To run the ship, a crew of at least 6 men are needed. Upwards of a dozen would be optimal. Other than that there isn't much more to note. It's a fast ship with weak armor and weapons.

Development Thread: If needed...
Intent: To make a new line of specialized ships...

Hello there. So the speed thing is an issue but We can work it out. So normally, 11 would be about the fastest you can get something this big. But since that is its main deal and it is low armament and defense Let's say you could push the speed to 9.

so Speed 9, Manoeuvrability 9 and its good to go.

To clarify, that's the absolute fastest it can go? Cause that's this ships whole deal, so gotta ask ya know. Also it is my first ship design!

[member="Valashu Elahad"] this is a massive ship. a ship this size at that speed would be like a fighter going .3

the scale is based on size vs speed and speed 1 is for fast interceptors. 3 if fighters, 5 is gunships and freighters, corvettes are 7 to 9 Fast Frigates are around 8 normal frigates @ 11, fast cruisers are 11 normal are 15 so on so forth :) you could alternately do Speed 8 and maneuvering 10 which will still be very fast for a ship this size but a speed 9 heavy cruiser is uber fast. look here and under the Chaos Reference then under Chaos Example Ship Reference Chart.

700 meter ships just can not maneuver and move faster then interceptors and fighters because of their mass. It takes too much force to counter their mass.

so
speed maneuvering 9 Hyperdrive class .5
or
speed 8 and maneuvering 10 Hyperdrive class .5
is the best a ship this size can achieve without some development.
