Intent:

• Finally subbing a Lightsaber that was given to Amelia Sorenn-Syrush by [member="Fiore de Noir"] after defeating and claiming the lightsaber from the defeated Cathar Jedi Jathahr Mila - during the their tenure with the Templar Order which has since become defunct (with its remnants being absorbed into the Holy Order of the Righteous Flame which was recently reorganized into the Knights of the Pyre).

• Makashi Curve - The original owner of the blade was a practitioner of Form II - Makashi. The hilt itself has a tapped and subtle curve towards the end (very much reminiscent of Count Dooku's lightsaber). This design made it easier to be used with the fluid motions seen in Form II that focuses on lightsaber on lightsaber combat.

• Keep in a cool, dry place - Like many lightsabers that are not specifically built for such environments or situations, the blade will be fail to activate if submerged in water. Likewise it has additional operational problems with activated in wetter climates or where torrential rains are a near constant.

• Makashi Curve - Its sole purpose was for the blade to be intended for use specifically with the Makashi style; thus the wielder would otherwise have substantial problems or hindrances if attempting to use the blade with the other available styles often practiced or utilized by other lightsaber wielders.

This lightsaber began its life years ago when it was created by the Cathar Jedi Jathahr Mila - this being her first and only lightsaber that she created during her time as a Jedi. Having shown an interest in Form II - Makashi, it was specifically designed for the purpose and intent of utilizing that form against other lightsaber wielding opponents. While this ensures that the lightsaber excels at its intended utilization, it otherwise has problems with used with the other forms - causing the wielder to primarily focus on Form II as a specific specialization.

How it came into Amelia's possession is another story. During their tenure with the now defunct Templar Order (no not that one), Amelia utilized Fiore de Noir as a personal assassin, unleashing her upon the galaxy as a whole. One such mission saw Fiore defeat then Jedi Knight Jathahr Mila in one on one combat. After recovering her defeated fore's lightsaber, it was sent to Amelia.

Even now as she has reorganized the remnants of the Templar Order and Holy Order of the Righteous Flame into the Knights of the Pyre - Amelia still maintains possession of the lightsaber, having forgotten it in a personal vault over the last few years as her mind refocused on other endeavors. Now though with its rediscovery, she has begun to once more wear it openly.
