JASTILE KAI'EL

Born to a single mother on Corellia, Jastile would be discovered to be Force sensitive by the New Jedi Order and trained in their ways. He proved to be a promising student, possessing great strength in the Force, a studious and inquisitive nature, and a knack for lightsaber combat. He would also develop the rare abilities Force Light and Shatterpoint. Jastile would quickly climb the ranks, becoming a padawan at fifteen and a knight only three years later. By twenty-five, he had become a master in his own right. As the years passed, Jastile committed himself to hunting down and destroying the Sith where ever he could. As time went by, however, Jastile began to realize that his strength was beginning to deteriorate with age. While his mind grew ever stronger, as he always continued to study the complexities of the force, his physical form withered. Jastile had taken on genetic research in his spare time, becoming particularly interested in cloning. If he could no longer hunt the Sith, Jastile reasoned he could create a being in his image to continue this task after his passing. Jastile committed twenty years of his life to creating an artificial Jedi using his DNA as the main template. In his desperation, he briefly fell to the dark side, overcome by his hatred for the Sith. In the end, only one Clone was able to survive. To his dismay, the clone was weak in the Force. Realizing the natural laws he had broken, Jastile gave the clone to the Jedi to be raised, exiling himself in shame. Feeling sympathy or maybe even a familial bond for the child he had engineered, Jastile gave the clone a name before he left: Jasper Kai'el. Now, he lives alone on Dantooine waiting to become one with the Force.

After a failed attempt to create a being capable of destroying the Sith in his stead, Jastile left the New Jedi Order and went into exile, never to be seen again.
