SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:

• Fighter Hunter: The Jast SFK does exactly what the name says. Kills fighters in droves. With Chain guns, Ion and flak cannon at it's disposal it is a staple ship to help shred down fighter hordes.

Weaknesses:

• Weak to heavy guns: The Jast Starfighter Killer is not meant as a ship of the line. It will not hold up as well as a standard War Frigate should it come under heavy fire. Keep it back and towards the bigger vessels.
• No Shields: The SFK has no shields and thus is that much more vulnerable to attack. Especially by Hyper velocity cannons.
• Limited Munitions: Flak cannons, Mass drivers and Warheads are all finite munitions. Once these run out it is entirely reliant on lasers, which could hamper it's effectiveness.

Description:

The last vessel in the initial Jast Warship line, the Starfighter killer was designed to do, exactly what the name says. With a myriad of anti Starfighter Weapons this baby can shred through the clusters with ease, and keep the bombing runs off your larger vessels backs.

A notable weakness of the SFK is that it lack shielding, which makes it extremely vulnerable to any attacks, leaving it's armor plating to take the brunt of the damage. It cannot hold up in a line and get hammered or it will simply be ripped through like butter.

A popular tactic is to screen these above, below or behind your heavier vessels, to protect critical points. As with all Jast Vessels it can be modded and has a very basic user interface.

Mix it with a fighter compliment covering your lines for extra effect.

Maneuverability Rating: Average

Classification: Anti-Starfighter frigate

If your ship can maneuver as well as a corvette than average is not the correct rating to be using as a frigate.

Overall, your ratings as of right now are above what would be acceptable at this production level. Dropping speed to low would fix this, as your shield weakness would cover having higher maneuverability (or another rating being higher if you chose to lower maneuverability).

You still have not addressed the nature of this strength. The average maneuverability of a frigate is less maneuverable than the average maneuverability of a corvette. If your maneuverability, as a frigate, is on par with a ship of a smaller size than its rating needs to reflect this. On the other hand, you can reword or remove this strength as to not imply a heightened maneuverability above average.
