Born Rumbar, Son of Griskle, a Tof warrior renowned for his skill in raiding in the name of the once mighty empire, Rumbar was taught at a young age to grow and become a great warrior, or go crying home to his mother, the immensely beautiful Tof woman Elsveth. His father was ever protective of his beautiful wife, but his son he did not share his defense, for he would not keep a boy who could not fight, wield an axe or sword, lift trees from their stumps, fight off attackers who threatened his life and the life of his family, and who could not rip the barrel of a blaster from its mount. As such, Rumbar grew up a strong man.
Upon his 16th birthday, his father abandoned him in the Caves of Rassus Croor as a test, a haunted cave that held the sacred burial ground of a long dead Jarl, one of the right hand men who served the old King Harroreth during their years of glory against the Nagi. In these caves, Rumbar encountered spirits, as he retells, the ghosts of his fathers long before him. They told him to continue searching the tomb, seek the hidden burial chamber of Jarl Rassus. It was here that he found the Hammer of Tomba, the Jarl's infamous, long handled staff that held a massive, runed battlehammer forged from a branch taken from the mysterious Iffisdrasil, the Iron Tree, a Mythical, great tree that the Tof people believed to be a sacred site.
Presenting the weapon to his father, Rumbar was taken before the King, who in turn granted the still young man the title of Huskjarl, the Defender of the Prince, Hawthorn, and when he came of age to take the throne, he would become a Jarl himself.
Together, Rumbar and Prince Hawthorn became Blooded Brothers, sharing a bond very few Tof share amongst the ranks of their people. Wielding the Hammer of Tomba, Jarl Rumbar stood by the side of his Prince as they fought side by side together, until the King, his father, told of an expedition into the Skyriver to take the Galaxy in the name of the Tof Empire.
And so by the side of the now Allking Hawthorn, Jarl Rumbar, the Hammer of Tof, readies himself in preparation of taking on the entirety of the Skyriver in the name of his oldest friend and the Allking. The soon forgotten Empire would rise once more...
