Expert pilot and astrogator: Jareb was schooled at the Coronet Academy of Flight, followed by a short stint with the Corellian militia as a fighter pilot. He is highly trained in both orbital and spacial tactics as well as the operation of various starships and fightercraft.
Cocky: Jareb has inherited the classic Corellian trait of over-confidence. This frequently gets him into trouble. He tends to overstep his limitations and test his luck against unfavorable odds.
Arrogant: Jareb has a way he likes doing things, and he likes to stick by them. He can take orders, but he likes following them in his own personal way.

APPEARANCE:
Jareb Kaine is a tall, strongly built young man. He tends to wear working clothes (normally a utilitarian leather jacket over a flight suit) and always seems to have an oil or grease stain marked on his pants or shirt. Despite his apparel he tends to keep a clean look to his hair and when he grows out his beard. He has a somewhat roguish look in his eyes and appears untraditionally handsome. He carries a blaster at his side at most times, attached to his thigh by a holster and belt set.
BIOGRAPHY:
Jareb Kaine grew up on Corellia. He was the middle of three children of a relatively well-off family in Coronet. As he grew up, his path to becoming a pilot became more clear. His parents approved of his career choice, originally hoping for him to pursue a job in commercial navigation. But as he advanced through schooling at the prestigious Coronet Academy of Flight, he began to shift interest into a more dangerous role. He loved the challenge and excitement of the combat flight sims and was highly intrigued by the history of wars and battle tactics throughout the ages. His parents were eventually supportive, but tried to highly discourage his application into the small Corellian militia fleet. However, he would not be deterred from his bold and new exciting life of adventure.
Over his few years with the milita Jareb gained much experience as he was assigned on escort runs protecting cargo ships from pirates, and even took part in several small skirmishes with the One Sith Empire before they rose fully to power. However when the Sith closed in on Corellia, his parents, who were strong supporters of the Jedi and democracy, were forced to leave their home and look for safety elsewhere. Jareb stayed behind to help defend his homeworld, but was eventually devastated when the Sith claimed it and his splinter cell of rebels left over from the militia disbanded. Seeking purpose, he followed his family to the Outer Rim, where they sought shelter with the fledgling Galactic Alliance.
It was with the Galactic Alliance that he found his purpose. With his prior experience, Jareb was welcomed into their ranks as a starfighter reconnaissance pilot. The Alliance was a cause he could get behind. A group dedicated to bringing the light side back to power in the dark galaxy.

Jareb served the Galactic Alliance dutifully in the following months of their growth. He earned commendation for his performance during the occupation of Omwat and successfully survived the retreat at Lujo. Afterwards assigned to a deep space exploration mission for additional fuel sources for the Alliance, he has recently returned in the response for a mustering of troops in the weeks leading up to the invasion of Coruscant. Jareb has hopes that if Coruscant can fall into Alliance hands, the Corellian system will be in much closer reach to claim from a battered One Sith.
