NAME: Jaiyn Vex
FACTION: Clan Vex, Mandalorians
RANK: Padawan? If Mandalorians have a padawan equivalent, that is.
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 16. Still not of age.
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 1.8 metres tall
WEIGHT: 64 kg
EYES: Although usually hidden behind his visor, he posses a pair of grey eyes, typical to most Mandalore-born Mandalorians.
HAIR: He has black hair, usually shaved into an undercut. It's the most stylish thing he could get past his old mentor.
SKIN: His mother had fair Mandalorian skin, but his father was darker skinned. As a result, he’s black, with a skin the colour of cinnamon.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Nope.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum):

· Technologically Proficient: Jaiyn has knack for engineering. Be it droids or splicing, he’ll can manage himself, as long as the job is on an amateur's level.

· Charismatic: Whenever Mandalorian-style negotiations go sour, he’ll talk his way out of a situation. Sure, unorthodox, but he can’t help himself. He’s inherently good with people.

· Improvisation: If anything, Jaiyn thinks on his feet. He’s skilled at changing a plan when the old plan goes to hell, and he doesn’t need a commander to tell him what to do. Be it haggling or on the battlefield, he can adapt whenever something goes wrong. Given more experience, this could be his greatest asset.

· Polyglot: Jaiyn knows basic, Mando’an, Huttese, Binary, and Shyriiwook. It’s useful when facing cartels, Kashyyyk, droids, other Mandalorians, and most of the population of the galaxy.

WEAKNESSES:
· Ill-equipped: Nowadays, most Mandalorians carry suits of armour which rival starship plating, and carry assault rifles with enough firepower to level a building. This, Jaiyn doesn’t have. He’s forced to outwit his enemies at every turn, since he can neither out-gun nor out-duel them.

· Young: Jaiyn has nor the wisdom nor the sharpness of a more honed, seasoned Mandalorian. This will definitely show when it comes to his marksmanship, tactics, and worst of all, his insubordination/attitude during a proper battle.

APPEARANCE:
Jaiyn is very much a Mandalorian, but unique in his own right. You can see that in every aspect of his appearance, starting with his body:
He's got a tall, coltish, even lanky build. You could attribute this to him being a teenager, but even people his age aren't this scrawny. He isn't too weak, though- His muscles are pretty compact, and he has the strength any Mandalorian his age ought to have.
His complexion is another detail that sets him apart from your typical Mando; rather than that fair, pale skin others on his planet have, Jaiyn is darker skinned, a trait gathered by his father, who comes from off-world.
His face is almost triangular in shape, with the sharp cheekbones and strong jaw you'd expect from a Mandalorian. It's all a casing for piercing grey eyes, cold as icebergs when you focus on them for too long. It's clear he draws this from his mother, a revered warrior in his small but proud clan.
In the center of his face lies a hooked nose, almost like an angler's fishing hook in shape and sharpness. It's the object of much teasing, so he's very self-conscious about it.
His final, most apparent physical trait is his haircut- Unlike most warriors, he keeps his afro textured hair in an undercut, a product of his rebellious, youthful tendencies. Screw the system and it's crew cuts.

BIOGRAPHY:
Clan Vex had never been a very big clan, but it'd always been strong. Since times lost in history, they've been at the forefront of battles, skirmishes, and raids; charging into the flames of destruction with blasters, swords, or cudgels in hand. Whatever the fight, they were involved- They're a lineage of fervent, powerful warriors.
Now, Jaiyn Vex stands to ruin part of the clan's legacy. Being the clan leader's firstborn, he has a great deal of responsibility of his shoulder, of which he's willing to deal with not even a quarter. The politics, warmongering, and in-clan bickering had simply never been for him; but unfortunately, his mother's will had proved stronger than his own.
From a young age, Jaiyn had been groomed by a proper Mandalorian mentor, forcing onto him the militaristic ways of their people. In time, Jaiyn learned to shoot, identify battle tactics, repel a combatant; however, there's still something left. Discipline.
Unfortunately, this essential part of his formation never came to be, given the untimely demise of his instructor. Still the heir of his clan, the boy was sent off-world in search of a better teacher- And, hopefully, experiences that would make a Mandalorian out of him.

CLOTHING:
You're expecting to see a detailed, intricate Mandalorian suit of armour, aren't you? One with a jetpack, missiles, electric greaves, a pop-up HUD... Jaiyn has none of that; he hasn't earned it yet. What he HAS earned is an outdated helmet, chestpiece, boots, and greaves, which barely compare to a Stormtrooper's armour. It's decorated in a blue and gold finish, with a fading silver plate to the rest of the body.
Fortunately for him, he isn't fond of armour anyways. You'll usually find him in a long sleeved t-shirt or jumped, with his clan's insignia at his side, along with black pants and varied boots. His belt, however, does carry a blaster pistol, so you might not consider him a complete waste of a Mandalorian. Just... An unconventional one.
However, something he does refuse to discard is his visor. Up front, it's a fairly unimpressive (even stupid-looking) piece of eyewear. But underneath, it's been fitted with an HUD perfect to help the user tinker with droids, or anything mechanical in nature.

WEAPONS:
· EE-3 Carbine: It’s hardly more than a blaster pistol, but all he needs is the stock and sight. It’s got lower stopping power than a regular rifle, but it’s a multi-purpose weapon.

· WESTAR-35 Blaster Pistol: A standard side-arm for Clan Viszla, Jaiyn uses this model when up close with his foes. It can fire significantly quicker than his carbine.

Also there are currently two different Mando groups on the site, the Madalorian Empire, Mandalor but no council also capital is a rock which is pretty cool, and the slightly older, and bigger, United clans who have a council but no Mandalor. They're both pretty cool, and a lot of people are OOCly members of both.
