OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To finally make a personal set of Mandalorian armor for Jagen Wren.
  • Development Thread: If Necessary
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Jagen Wren
  • Model: N/A
  • Affiliation: Jagen Wren
  • Modularity: Wrist gauntlets are interchangeable
  • Production: Unique
  • Material:
    Beskar-Ciridium Alloy
  • Stygian Triprismatic Polymer
  • Alum
  • Durafiber
  • Durasteel

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Beskar'gam
  • Weight: 22 kilograms
  • Quality: 10
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Resistances:
Major resistance to lightsaber attacks, heavy strikes can be withstood by the plated parts of the armor.
  • Major resistance to blaster bolts, civilian-grade and military-grade weaponry alike will only scorch the plates and hurt somewhat, but will pierce areas only covered by the durafiber bodysuit.
  • Major resistance to vibroblades, most blades and vibroblades would only scratch the armor, though enhanced blades might just cut.
  • Medium resistance to slugs, slugs hurt more than regular blaster bolts would towards the user, but still not powerful enough to piece the armor.

[*]Helmet/HUD:

[*]Armor:
  • JT-12 Jetpack
  • Blast Energy Sinks
  • Combat De-Ionizers
  • Electromagnetic Boots

[*]Weapons Systems:

Strengths:
  • Technology: The suit of beskar'gam has many technological suits in both the body and helmet portions, mainly enhancing combat with weapons and multiple vision modes. This easily gives the wearer an advantage over others in certain terrains such as complete darkness.
  • Strong: The plating is made up of a plethora of durable alloys such as Beskar and Ciridum, giving it a variety of resistances against blades, blasters, and even lightsabers.
Weaknesses :
  • Technology: While the technology in the body and the helmet give an advantage, an EMP burst or the like will most likely knock it out, leaving it a durable suit of armor. This can also affect the gauntlet weapons and the jetpack.
  • Unprotected: While the plating itself is extremely durable, the joints and other unplated areas are susceptible to blows and blasts.

Description: Modeled after the armor of Mandalorian Crusaders during the Cold War and oncoming Great Galactic War; Jagen Wren's armor combines durability with technology to give him an edge over his opponents on the battlefield. Made primarily of Mandalorian Iron, Beskar, mixed with Ciridium to form a very durable alloy that plates this armor coinciding with other materials such as Durasteel and Durafiber, the armor provides a decent amount of resistance against lightsabers, blasters, and blades.

Like other Mandalorian beskar'gam, the armor features a jetpack as well as multiple gauntlet weapons. Unlike other Mandalorian armors, the armor is less bulkier which means less heavy, giving the wearer more agility than normal armor would permit. Integrated into the helmet are multiple technological suites as well as vision enhancing modes and targeting computers.

A few weaknesses that the armor has is actually the technology, it is rather unprotected meaning an EMP burst or stray ion grenade could fry the systems. The joints themselves as well as other unplated areas are not as durable as the plated areas, meaning that a lightsaber strike or the like could cleanly cut through with relative ease. Overall, the armor will serve as a powerful addition to Jagen's arsenal.

Stygian Triprismatic Polymer

This requires Stygium to make, as it is duraplast laced with it, to my knowledge. Unless you have evidence to the contrary (which I will happily take) or have done the challenge for Stygium, this and all effects will need to be removed before we address anything else on the submission.

Can you please provide a source for this statement? To my knowledge, Stygian itself is not Stygium; Stygian laced into duraplast enhances the cloaking fields provided by Stygium as shown in Imperial Shadowtroopers but it is not the restricted material itself.

[member="Jagen Wren"] - I was going off the basis of the 'Essential Guide to Warfare' listing it as 'Stygium Triprismatic' but have been informed that the book in question with that entry had a typo in listing it thus. I had zero idea. Apologies there. Still, due to that, understand it is (as you stated) just duraplast and confers you zero native stealth or any sort of anything beyond enhancement of other systems. Otherwise, good to go.
