Biography: When he was young, Jace was just another youth on the streets of Corellia. He led an average life with his human mother and his force-sensitive, thrysian father, an exile of the famed Sun Guard mercenaries who lived on the moon Thrysus. His father was a hardened man and hundreds of battles had forged him into a skilled warrior. It was on a mission to kill a noble of Corellia, that he had met the woman that would soon become his wife, but the Sun Guard would not allow it, so he fled, but the Sun Guard swore to find him. He would soon bear a child, Jace, the mother dying in birth, who he raised as normal as he could, teaching him some Thrysian and Echani battle arts, the latter he was not raised with and had to learn on his own from the few books that were stored in the library on Thrysus. He had grown to respect the Echani, who before he thought of as weak, but after betraying saw the grace in their combat. It was on Jace's 10th birthday that the Sun Guard finally managed to locate the father, and they bore down on his house with no mercy for traitors deserve none. They sent in enough men to take a fortress, and although he managed to take down several of them, he was eventually overwhelmed and killed. After taking down the father, the Sun Guard began to chase the child, who was fleeing the scene, but unfortunately he was not fast enough, and one of the Sun Guard managed to close in on him, but the soldiers were taken aback when they saw him launch backwards. They realized that he, just as his father did, had a strong connection to the force, but they had expected as much. They aim their blasters at the child, but were once more surprised when they saw a man walk between them and the target. When they asked him to step aside, all he did was flash his lightsaber, and the Sun Guard, wanting no trouble with the Jedi, left. After that, the man offered Jace a new home, to which Jace gladly accepted and then the Jedi brought him to the temple on Coruscant. He was taught at the temple by a the same man who had found him in Corellia, a renowned Jedi Knight, named Adrian Thanewulf. For his first few years, Jace seemed to stand out from amongst the crowd, because of his bloodline he was more naturally attuned to the force and as such, was able to wield it almost naturally. The nature of his bloodline, however, was of the Dark Side, but because of Adrian's vouching and promise to watch him, he was allowed into the temple. Just as well, the Thyrsian training his father had given him also made him very skilled in lightsaber combat, proving to be able to outmaneuver and overpower his opponents, and for the next years of his life, Jace was hailed as a prodigy.

That was how he lived, until he was 17. Jace had left the temple with his master for a diplomatic mission with the Hutt Cartel on Tatooine. While Adrian was busy with speaking to the Hutts, Jace decided to look through the local market, a decision he would later regret. As Jace searched through the multitude of vendors in the grand marketplace of Mos Ila, he soon found his way into what was an apparent black market, dealing in the unsavory and perverse. But just as he was about to leave, Jace heard a whisper in the wind and turned to face the source, and he was astonished when he found himself staring at a sith holocron. He knew what it was, Adrian had told him many times, about glowing red pyramids containing the knowledge of long-dead sith lords. Jace knew he could not let such a dangerous item fall into the wrong hands, so he purchased it from the vendor, a fatal mistake. As soon as Jace touched the Pyramid, it lit up, blazing in Jace's hands, eating at his mind. After several minutes Jace woke up from the trauma, but he was no longer the man he once was, for the holocron had changed him. It had awoken the ancient Sith magic in his blood, causing the Dark Side to consume his mind. His thoughts, which used to be of peace, serenity, and control, were no more. His head filled with thoughts of the power he had just experienced, and how much more he could have. His old thoughts now appeared to him as traits of the weak, for all the did was stand in the way of power. Jace left the black market with his new purpose, he would leave both Tatooine and the Jedi Order, to search for power beyond comprehension. But his thoughts were interrupted, as when he exited the building, he saw his master Adrian, standing in front of him, looking sorrowfully into his eyes. When Adrian asked what had happened, Jace only replied that he had seen the truth, and with that answer, Adrian knew there was no saving his padawan, and he charged Jace before he could pull his lightsaber, but Jace was ready. It only took a second, and Jace left the market, leaving his master to die in the slums of Tatooine.

Years later, Jace now roams the galaxy alone, in search of power, knowledge, and a new teacher.

Anyone can be a master but to be honest, if you pick a padawan as a master, that's not smart. Someone wise, powerful, and knowledgeable is probably your best pick. Just suggestions.

Usually a rank above helps as well. But its your character, your choice. Welcome!
