It's Bright in Here [Jericho]

Voss
Only recently Vaulkhar had been given the clear to remain on Voss and undergo training to become a Jedi by Thurion, the current Grandmaster of the Silver Jedi. Prior to the agreement, he was kept as a prisoner to the Silver Sanctum as agreed with a past enemy, now current Jedi Master. It was Jericho who had taken him prisoner, upon an agreement the then-Sith had made with him. In order to spare his former master, Vaulkhar had willingly given himself up as a prisoner to the Silver Sanctum during a botched attempt at finding the sister of whoever led the little assault upon Toola. As happy as Vaulkhar was that the Jedi agreed to his terms, the words spoken by Vengeance to Vaulkhar still troubled the young man greatly. He agreed to be taken as a prisoner, possibly even face execution had the SSC wanted to hold him accountable for the actions of the One Sith. Yet the last thing his former master had said to him prior to his departure was the fact he was promoted too early, and that Vengeance was unsure whether or not he was a successful master towards Vaulkhar.

With a shake of his head, Vaulkhar managed to force away the rather depressing thoughts he currently underwent and instead turned to focus upon that of his future. He currently stood within the entryway of the Silver Temple upon Voss. He sent off a small courier droid to notify Jericho of his current situation and a time and location for their first training session. The meeting place was the entryway of the Temple, and the time was fast approaching to begin. Vaulkhar likely would have arrived closer to the time he originally had specified, but he was rather excited to begin his training to become a Jedi and he had found the best place to meditate was nearby. Since the approval of Thurion, he had been searching for a home, but unable to find one at this point, he had simply taken up residence within the temple. And with all the time he had spent within the temple, he amanged to explore it to the best of his ability and had already found many different areas he had come to enjoy.

Jericho took in a deep breath in and long exhale out. He looked from the glorious view of the Sanctum Temple. He would see the vast range of the forests, the high mountain, he could even see the relaxing and quiet rivers flowing into the valleys and plains. Voss was such a beautiful and quiet planet, with how many battles in the universe going on. The Silvers were lucky to have such a place in their territory. It wasn't long before Jericho received a message from [member="Vaulkhar"] about his current situation. So he had spoken to Grand master Thurion and it seems his younger disciple's kindness did not change. Though under his own guidance, the former sith acolyte was welcomed to the ranks of the Silver Sanctum. This was new to the warrior, to take in someone from the dark side, though from the battle with the One Sith; the young warrior was not one with the dark side. That much could at least be seen as plain as day. But with Jericho's track record of trainee's would be worthy of teaching someone who may be seeking redemption? The giant of a human adjusted his mask but lowered his hood to reveal his light brown hair as he made his way to the young man.

Jericho reached out a hand and placed it on the young man's shoulder giving him a firm but welcoming grasp. "Vaulkhar. Welcome." The warrior said calmly as he moved quietly to his side. Jericho giving the young man a more....formal welcome to the temple to make him feel more calm and less like a prisoner. Continuing his steps passed the new learner signalling him to follow leading the young man to the beautiful temple gardens. "Since you decided to stay, I assume you wish to learn. But...What do you wish to learn?"

Vaulkhar could feel Jericho coming long before he arrived, but he did not turn to greet his new master. When he came nearer, Vaulkhar stood and turned his attention towards the temple grounds once more. With the grasp of his shoulder, he turned towards Jericho and nodded. "Many thanks, Jericho." He lowered himself into a slight bow before moving to follow the larger man. At the assumption of Jericho, Vaulkhar nodded in answer, but his follow up question was one he could not yet answer. His main goal was to simply become a Jedi. To shed himself fully of the Dark Side and accept the Light Side within him. But what the Light Side offered, he did not know. In answer to the question, he shrugged.

"Honestly master, I do not know." Vaulkhar stepped up beside him so he was no longer trailing behind him. "The light side of the force is a mystery to me. I'd like to learn anything you could teach me, honestly. Lightsaber forms, force techniques and powers. Anything that could help me."

Jericho shook his head slightly in disappointment in the young man's answer having expecting him to put some thought in what he was doing especially since he was going to stay in the Sanctum. As he understood one coming from the darkness don't know not what they want from the light but they would have some basis aside from saber forms and force abilities. "The Force, whether it is light or dark, is always will be a mystery." The warrior started as he continued to walk calmly leading [member="Vaulkhar"] to the gardens of the sanctum. "It is ever expanding as science and yet shrouded within its own mystic realm." He said said holding his hand behind his back and let out a calm sigh. The warrior took in the moment. "But I digress...What do you truly know about the force, what skills whether it be saber forms or techniques, do you know?" The warrior asked to get a better understanding of his new apprentice.
