Kesh Hevro never thought that he would one day be escorting a purely diplomatic mission, much less as part of the CIS. He’s always been a tough fighter who prefer to get his hands dirty, especially with any target in a wrestling distance. That’s why he decided to join Hellions, and that’s how he has climbed the hierarchy so quickly in such a short time. It’s not like he can’t handle a crowd, he’s a royalty anyway, he’s supposed to know how to act in front of influential people, it’s just that he never expected to face such circumstances as part of Hellions command.
Yet opportunity came when the government of Rannon required the Koboh delegation to not bring any CIS military personnel to continue the discussion on the new commercial agreement. Hellions, being a PMC, isn’t disqualified from the requirement, and Kesh, as a Hellions special operator had to join the mission to make sure the safety of the senator and her entourage.
They meeting flew by, it was tough and tense. He didn’t listen to details, but he knows that agreement hasn’t been reached, and that they, had to drive back to the hotel. The drive, that happened to pass a woodland, was rocky. Why they had chosen to hold the meeting in quite far from their accommodations is unclear. Negotiations tactic, perhaps.
Halfway through, Kesh felt a bump, which slows down the car, until it stops entirely. I have a bad feeling about this, he murmured to himself, before checking what happened outside of the vehicle from the side window.
