It takes a Galaxy to raise a child, The tales of Ryker.

Current location : Tatooine somewhere just outside Mos Eisley Spaceport.

Current Cast : @Ryker WyldeMane

"Ugghh Me hates this planet Toki...Its just too hot here"
+stated the young togruta as he sat on a sand dune just on the outskirts of the Spaceport, a tiny blue Lizard poking its head from the boys pocket, both watching the twin suns rise over the deserts of Tatooine.

He knew he didn't belong on Tatooine but this is where he'd been abandoned when his family fled from Coruscant during the Sith invasion, His Mother and Siblings having not even made it off planet, shot down as they ran to the ship. His father and a baby Ryker had made it too this dusty hellhole and soon after his father decided to drown himself in the bottom of any bottle he could find.

Through all this, Ryker still somehow maintained a certain level of happiness, often finding comfort amongst the various droids and droid repair shops around Mos Eisley, Often doing odd jobs for the shopkeeps to help feed his father and himself. Though he found it easy enough to make friends he still preferred the company of droids and that of a small Lizard he had found amongst the dunes and often Referred to as Toki

"Well Toki,.. We may as well go try to scrounge up some breakfast" +With that said Ryker would stand and brush the sand from his tiny form and quickly run off towards Mos Eisley in search of food+

He was in the unknown regions. At least that was what his superiors would belive and knew of his movements. He however was standing just outside the Mos Eisley Space port with the ship he had used to get here in a hangar inside, an old Junker he had named The fat Man, mostly for his own amusement. He wore his armor but not his helmet or the iconic lightsaber on his hip. Instead his lightsaber was tucked under his belt behind his back and two Dc-17 Blasters hung at his hips and his blindfold had been changed for a pair of goggles to keep his eyes hidden from others, he didn't really need them anyway.
Here he wouldn't be sith he'd just blend in and enjoy the feel and air, even though it smelled rank to him, of a non sith subjugated population.
Walking down the street he began to sing a small tune that his father had sung to him when he was very small and refused to go to bed. "Seven apples on a witch's tree~♪ With Seven seeds to plant inside of me~♪ In springtime I grew a magic song~♪ Then Skipping along, I sang the song to everyone~♪" He sang out in his silvery voice, the song melodious and chipper but still earning a few strange stares at the crazy person singing as he walked down the street.
He noticed the child that was highly force sensitive, a marking that to his vision made him seem more defined than the muddled crowds of the streets. He gave the boy a kind smile as he then looked behind himself and saw a few of the children of the town had begun following after him, curiosity over his song it appeared to him making them follow after him. "Who can tell me were I can get something delicious to drink? There will be a drink on me for the best drink." He said with a wry spacer smile, if his father had taught him anything it was the ability to mimic the mannerisms of people from all walks of life perfectly but this time it felt a little more natural to him since he indeed simply wanted to find a good place to get a cool refreshing drink and then simply sit in the shade and people watch for a while.

+Skipping his way down the dusty streets, Toki gripping tightly to his shoulder, Ryker took a bite from the fruit he'd gotten from a local vendor. As he turned a corner his lekku began to tingle and the hair on the nape of his neck rose just as the song made its way to his ears, His attention being drawn instantly to the happy mercenary, His instincts telling him to avoid the man and his curiosity yelling at him to go take a closer look.+

"What does you think Toki?" +He asked the tiny blue lizard as he looked to his shoulder+. "Should us go have a look?" +And as if in response the creature on his shoulder flicked its tongue and quickly dove back into the boys pocket, Only to quickly poke its head back out once more as they both heard the man's promise of a drink. Ryker's bare feet quickly carrying him to the crowd surrounding the man.

"Hey Mister! Me know where to go for tasty drinks! +Came his tiny voice from within him as if it had something extra pushing it to be louder and more predominate than the surrounding croud. Noticing the spike in his voice, And normally getting picked on for it by others Ryker would simply stop talking and move thru the crowd silently and poke the man on the thigh.

Hot.
That was the only word Rawnie could think as she walked through the dusty streets. She hated hot. Rawnie was a woman of ice and snow. She lived for the frigid north, for the deadly ice storms, for the winters that became so cold, a full grown man could freeze to death in an hour if he was not covered. Out here though, under the blistering sun...

She was dying. Absolutely dying. Her hair was pulled back in a braid over her shoulder. A loose grey scarf was draped over her head like a hood to keep the sun out of her eyes. For once, she'd even refused to wear her armor. No. Too hot for that. Instead, she was wearing white leggings, one of Loranes button ups, and her ammo belt. A worn pair of goggles hung around her neck, just in case a sandstorm kicked up. One could never tell in places like this. This was exactly why she never liked to take jobs out here.

It didn't help anything that her pregnancy made her entire body feel ten degrees hotter than normal. She wasn't far enough to be showing, but she felt the effects already. Her morning sickness was not gone yet and would creep up in the most inconvenient of times- specifically not in the morning, but instead whenever it damn well pleased. Such was the price of happiness... She could deal with that.

What she was having trouble dealing with, really, was this. This heat.

"I'm not made for sand and sun...."

+His innate hunting abilities and passive echolocation allowed the young one to sense the presence of others around him, not that he needed it to know the woman was there, something else, something in his mind told him to turn and look in her direction. And seeing as the male mercenary had obviously not heard him he quickly turned to the woman and slowly walked behind her for a few moments just watching her...Wondering curiously.+

"Does you think she has food Toki?" . +He asked his pet, though no words ever left his mouth. He noticed that if he thought hard enough about something that his lizard somehow knew what he was saying, And as if he had spoken directly the small lizard trilled its response and curled back into a ball inside the boys pocket.+ "Yeah. Me thinks so too"

+With that thought he silently followed after her, Making sure the stay hidden but still able to see the woman through the more crowded areas. He could tell the woman was not from the horrible planet, She walked to straight and didn't wreak of despair and poverty, No she was from somewhere much better than here.....

Ella Nova stepped out into the streets of Mos Eisleys, with a transport carrier behind her powering down. She sensed the pilots eagerness to leave the confines of the ship. No doubt, to participate in the debauchery that Mos Eisleys was famous for.

She wore no Jedi clothing or markings to indicate that she was a Jedi Knight. The refugees that she had joined on the way to Tatooine, had been apart of her cover; and subsequently, she wore refugee clothes. The people that had climbed off with her, would no doubt end up either as moisture farmers, slavers, slaves or criminals. Those were the only prospects on Tatooine. It wasn't a good place to go to start a new life.

Her lightsaber hung from her, hidden beneath her garments. Sweat gripped her body, with a bead rolling along her forehead. But the Force flowed through her, and so she felt oddly cool and calm, for a such a humid, villainous and dangerous place to be in.

She was here for a Force-sensitive child, that had been lost after the Battle of Coruscant. According to the investigate done, the child's family had fled the Core- like many had- to get away from the war that would follow. Sadly, most of the child's family had died during the battle, but only the bodies of his mother and siblings had been discovered. The Order was confident that he was no longer on Coruscant.

The assignment had been passed onto the Jedi Knight, to recover the boy and bring him into the arms of the Jedi Order, before further harm came to him. His talents in the Force required nurturing and only the Jedi Order- or their associated branches, such as the Silver Jedi- were capable of ensuring that the boy did not fall into the wrong hands and turned to the dark side.

Her assignment had led her to Tatooine. But she was unsure where to begin. Trusting the Force, she allowed it to guide her, as she walked through Mos Eisleys. She would have a plan and soon. Such was the will of the Force.

Lorane hated hot places, even more than Rawnie did. Under the beskar armorweave trenchcoat he wore, there was nothing but a button-down shirt like the one she was wearing right now, and some light combat pants with holsters for several of his ever-present pistols. At least he didn't need to worry about sunburn like his fiancee did, although her choice in clothing was something he could definitely appreciate, for a variety of reasons.
Directly in front of them was a woman whose bearing and movement marked her as another fighter, despite her raggedy clothing. Before he'd met Rawnie, Lor probably would've chased that kind of woman around for a few hours. And behind, somewhere... He had the distinct feeling somebody was tailing them. Not that it was something to concern her with. She was having a hard enough time keeping herself from passing out. He gently gave her hand a squeeze.
"Don't worry, visahot. There's a bar right there. We can get as much cold stuff as you like."

The desert sand was annoying and got everywhere... that was why you wore a temperature regulated bodyglove with a bacta processing implant as the jedi knight moved. THe world was always a place to go when you wanted to fidn the lost, battle the corrupt or the dangerous... and when it twisted upside down at night the desert became its own danger before she grazed a hand along the lightwhip and saber on her hip with a look at the man at the docking port. "THe fee will be waived." Not the best way to do things but well stipends were important for important things not extorted docking fees as she started walking down the street.

She fanned herself weakly with the edge of her scarf, holding his hand with the other. How was he doing? There was a reason you didn't see many chiss on hot worlds like this. Rawnie claimed she wasn't made for the heat, but her fiance really wasn't made for it. She bit her lip as they walked.

"Alright, alright. Hey Lor? Am I hallucinating, or are we being followed?"

Probably hallucinating. Made her hear things. Like tiny footsteps under all the hustle and bustle around her. And... she glanced behind her, stopping where she was.
Yeah. Probably hallucinating. She needed a doctor. Oh wait...

+As he followed the woman and her Chiss counterpart he picked up a small rock and tossed it playfully thru the air to lightly hit the blue man on his shoulder, as he quickly tucked behind several crates and hand himself a chuckle. He loved being mischeivious, almost as much as he loved exploring, But as he sat chuckling he noticed a small freighter land and a small group of refugees disembark+.

"Me wonder if they know it sucks here Toki?" +He asked, mainly to himself seeing as his lizard had fallen asleep in the bottom of his pocket. His attention, driven by something deep inside, was pulled to a particular woman who had gotten off of the shuttle, She wasn't like the rest of the worn down tired refugees, she still have the will to look forward instead of down at her shuffling feet......

The sun was something to get use to but it was the flashes of taking her back to when she was younger. A time where she was at home on a planet like this to make her living. No that it mean she a different person back then. Even so being here on a different mission now. One more so was a force calling to her. It only started as a whisper when she been at the tree of life on Voss. Now on such a planet as Tatooine it was lifeless compared to this one.

Now she was here to help bring some of the Silver Cross medical and aid supplies with her stamp with the Silver Cross. Even so that was when she felt the other coming together some of old some of new. It didn't matter that this wasn't only one on here with the force to guild. Even so she would first find what she was needed that was gathering as she walked herself down the street once more of this sandy planet.

Lor grinned crookedly when a rock hit his shoulder, and he spun around at the sound of giggling. He nudged Rawnie a little before walking up and leaning over the pile of crates his young assailant had hidden behind.
"Well, hello. Who's been throwing rocks at me?"

Oh good. She was afraid she sun was getting to her. Thank the stars, it was only a little kid. A little boy. Throwing rocks. Rawnie followed Lorane over to the child, tilting her head to one side. Children. Oddly enough, awkward as Rawnie felt being around adults, she felt more than comfortable with children. She just.... got them. She could understand them. Their wants, needs. She played the children in her village back home. Taught them a lot.

Without a word, she pulled a bit of bread out of one of her pouches and held it out to him. She'd seen that look before. Hunger. She knew it well.

+His attention yanked back from the woman and to the voice behind him caused him to let out a startled scream, Instinctively embued with force energy the boy had always just thought was his strangeness, caused the scream to obliterate a nearby crate and even knock a small chunk from the nearby wall+.

"POODOO!!! Not again!!!" . +He swore before quickly turning to see the strange blue man standing behind him, And upon seeing the man the look upon his tiny face changed to a more pleading look as he raised his small hands up and in front of him, Ready for yet another trip to the local security office.+. . "Yeah. Me throwed the rock Mister, I'll follow you to the security office now"

+Never knowing anyone who willing gave up food , the tiny togruta stared curiously at the lady holding the chunk of bread. But as always his stomach got the best of him and he quickly snatched the bread and began to devour it+

Lor jumped back a little, grabbing Rawnie as he did, when the kid blew up a crate with his voice. A little space wizard, huh? Well, that didn't matter. He apparently had a sense of humor. The Chiss patted the little Togruta on the head and gestured towards his fiancee.
"I'm not gonna give you to some cops just for throwing a rock, kid. Go ahead and take that food Rawnie's got, and then we'll see what we do. Seriously. Go on."
[member="Ryker Wyldemane"] [member="Rawnie Tal'verda"]

As she was walking down the street see she didn't know what was going on as if getting the strange feeling that wa where she needed to be her next stop.

Looking first at the blue skin person even so she couldn't help help but give off her loving peace that was upon her. Even so she couldn't help herself to see that or more sense being force sense. It seem that kid was having doubt from the two. Letting the force flow around her like a beacon of light seeing that there wasn't but good well towards the kid.

"Greeting my loves, what do we have going on here,"

+The bread was gone almost as soon as he got it in his tiny hands, a small piece dropped into his pocket for his lizard. Once finished he looked back and forth between the two with a look of curiosity in his eyes, having grown use to the harshness of the planet and not being used to such niceness+

"So you really is not gonna turn me in?" +He asked, Ready to run at a moments notice should the man be lying, Though his tone stayed as calm as always, He often wondered how even though he was younger and smaller than the other children around he was never afraid when they were, nor did he ever seem to worry about danger like them+

He snatched the bread from her warm hands and quickly devoured it. Rawnie smiled, reaching to carefully touch his face, to guide it up so she could get a better look at him. She'd seen so many hungry children. She'd fed so many hungry children. It was... kind of her weakness. Space wizard or not. He... reminded her of her brother, actually.
She pulled out another slice when he was done and handed it to him.

"Slow down," she gently instructed, "You'll make yourself sick if you eat too fast. I have more for you. Just-"

She glanced behind her at the pink woman. Someone... was talking to them. She froze up, feeling her already burning face go almost a pink at this woman. What was she supposed to say? She'd leave that to Lorane.

Lor sat down in the shade next to the kid, when a Zeltron woman came over to ask something. The Chiss just shrugged and gestured towards where Rawnie was... mothering the little kid. It was really cute to watch. He looked back at the Zeltron, smiling.
"No trouble at all, madam. My fiancee and I just met this little boy a couple of minutes ago, and I was asking if he'd like some food. Apparently he did."
Lor looked back at the kid munching the bread again and smiled.
"No, kid. I'm not gonna give you to anybody you don't want to go with."
Honestly, it reminded the doctor of himself as a kid. Although, at that age, he'd been building and shooting guns for most of the time. Little bit of a difference.
[member="Maya Whitelight"] [member="Ryker Wyldemane"] [member="Rawnie Tal'verda"]

OH I see now, this little one hungry is he."

Seeing for for herself and judging by his clothing that that he been out on the streets to be by himself. As she got a closer look at the little one, giving off what she would feel was something more. Just wondering if he knew he was special, it didn't matter he was one that need to be care for not looking much older then her twins at home, already deep in their clearing of the force among other subject that would help them became a great jedi one day.

Well it looks like he could use some cleaning up just not a a piece of bread maybe some Nerf Blue Milk maybe, would you like that also.

Before taking it any more she looked at the two of them with a very motherly eye.

Forgive me I am Maya Whitelight of the Silver Cross Aid we came to drop of supplies, for those been displace and to help little ones like this one to a better life then of crime.
