Aaralyn admitted to herself, that she was nervous.
She didn’t show signs it outright, but deep down inside, in her gut she was afraid she would botch this up somehow. The small hut she had managed to get ahold of in the city of Rwookrrorro was cozy enough for this meeting. It would hopefully be something of a success for Aaralyn, or it would be a failure. It didn’t matter either way. She had to try something, the Jedi Order as she knew it was in shambles. There were many who were splintered and discorded by the politics in which the Jedi Order had somehow again, found themselves ensnared in.
Aaralyn could agree with their discomfort and discord, but not with the way it was being handled. Then again, the Jedi Order had been through a lot and there were no strong leaders left to take them forward together. One leader wasn’t enough, they needed more. The Jedi Order needed to be it’s own entity. The Jedi needed to continue to be Guardians of Peace and Justice throughout the Republic, but also understand that as time passes, we evolve. We must look out for the innocent, and the weak. We must stick to the Old Jedi Code and the New Jedi Order code and ensure that those who follow the ways of the Jedi do the same.
Aaralyn took a breath and exhaled heavily, she couldn’t say she was perfect as she didn’t always follow the Code herself but again, evolution had its moments. She just happened to be one of them…
The sound of her comlink beeping caught her attention as she looked over to her items neatly stacked, including her lightsabers and then to herself. She was dressed in traditional Jedi Robes, minus the sabers, wanting to make her guest as comfortable as possible.
