Arrbi Betna
Marauder
Betna relaxed his muscles and let his mind clear up until it became sharp and focused. Things slowed down slightly, or seemed to at any rate. He saw the fist come at him, this time from the opposite side. Was it a mirror? Or was it a different attack?
He fought down the questions the instant they appeared and fought down the initial reaction to parry the fist. Instead, he acted on the concept he had in mind. The one he hoped would work in his favor and be just unorthodox enough to keep an enemy on the back foot.
He surged forwards, ducking his head and body low as he did so. He felt Hoath's fist glance off his shoulder and down his back in a strike that would hurt later, but not nearly as much as if he'd taken the blow straight on. Betna found himself inside the sweeping attack for a brief moment before he brought his arms around and wrapped them firmly around Hoath's waist. He locked his hands together and brought the other man in for a bear hug, attempting to lift Hoath off his feet and into the air. If successful, Hoath would find himself with massive pressure applied to his lower spine from the bear hug and Betna's grip followed by opposite pressure applied to the upper torso as Betna pushed back with his own upper body on Hoath's chest. With the spine going opposite directions, a successful grapple meant Hoath could suffer spinal damage short of getting out of the grip or tapping out.
