The IT/IE-S Iron Imperial Squire Droid is a standard tool and companion for the Iron Empire Technomancers. The spherical droids can often times be seen floating around with their owners on Technomancer campuses and are a common sight wherever there are Legates. As lab partners their small size and incredible capacity for data storage and data analysis make them invaluable partners and on the field of battle they courageously serve their Legates as moral support, scout droids, and personal slicers. Able to fit inside almost any size bag they were about the size of a small melon. An articulated sensor array on the sides and rear of the body allowed for scouting as well as comical feigned emotions. The droid's photoreceptors allowed for owners utilizing Squire Interface enabled devices to see what the droid was seeing, giving Legates an incredible edge in battle and scouting missions. This same system allowed for diplomats to have live language translation and gave Technomancers an incredible way to translate digital code.

Despite their Mass-Production the droids are only ever seen with high ranking officers, Technomancers and Legates because they are quite expensive to produce. Keeping the droids limited to certain groups cuts down the cost of production as well as the cost of maintenance. Despite this, they are actually an open market product and are often also purchased by nobles to supplement their own protocol droids or as companions for their children.

Could the Iron Empire function without these quirky little droids? Probably, but their value is noticed and they will likely stay a part of the Iron Empire for decades to come.
