STRENGTHS
  • Consummate Hostess - The Gentry-class yacht is designed to entertain guests. This is thought out from the hangar where the guests enter to the antechambers, dining areas, entertainment areas, themed rooms, indoor pool, and the outdoor areas that can be used during atmospheric flight. Some of the highlights of this ship are the Water Pool, the Zero-G Lounge (complete with 'NoSpill Mugs'), the Observation Deck, Royal Casino, and the Holo Entertainment Deck.
  • Let's Take This Party Elsewhere - Every good party gets broke up from time to time. The Gentry-class yacht has a custom hyperdrive that allows the party to get started rapidly anywhere in the galaxy.
WEAKNESSES
  • When Does This Go On Sale? - A luxury yacht, in this case, can be more expensive to maintain and refit once docked than most military ships of the same class. The parts to restock this ship are not common parts that can be found on any backwater used starship lot--the parts in this yacht are highly specialized and require time and credits to effectively repair and restock.
  • When It Rains, It Pours - Due to the many dangerous aspects of this ship when things go south, it can be very dangerous to those onboard. With zero-g machinery, tons of water, glasses and duraglass everywhere, if the Gentry-class yacht starts taking damage, it is extreme hazardous to the guests inside. The ship was not designed with many redundant systems, so once vital systems start going out, only a few critical systems have backups.

Interstellar Starship Technologies knows its way around commissioned ships. Though the price can be quite high, the results speak for themselves. The Gentry-class Yacht is no exception to this. Designed for one of the Darkwire executives, the Gentry is built around the idea that a corvette can provide an entertaining, intimate setting anywhere in the galaxy. Its reflective, gold armoring is pleasing to the eye and still provides protection for the luxury vessel. Its hangar bay, at the ventral portion of the ship is added by tractor beams to allow easy docking within the corvette, able to accommodate small starships of guests that stay onboard. Due to this being a commission, advanced materials were used in its construction, so it has a price tag to match. Every detail of the ship screams "high class", akin more to the interior of an opulent palace than a starship.

Malicar Malicar , I'll be your factory judge for this submission. At a glance, this looks like it is roughly 2 ratings over in terms of balance. I think that the "When it rains, it pours" is a significant enough weakness to balance out for the abnormally fast hyperdrive though.

SQUADRON COUNT: Average (1 Squadron)
As with the frigate, if you'll be please use this format instead:
  • Hangar Space: (Please provide the amount of fighters/support craft this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of advanced systems should be. )
50m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 0 | High: 0 | Very High: 0 | Extreme: 0 ]
100m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 0 | High: 0 | Very High: 1 | Extreme: 2 ]
200m [Base: 0 | Very Low: 0 | Low: 0 | Average: 1 | High: 2 | Very High: 3 | Extreme: 4 ]
  • Hangar Allocations: (This is the allocated amounts of starfighters and support craft (dropships, shuttles, gunships, etc) this submission can hold in its hangar based on the maximum hangar space capacity listed above)
    • Starfighters: x squadrons
    • Support Craft: x squadrons

At 150 meters, this is probably going to round to using the 100 meter ratings for carried support craft (where the average is "0" squadrons). I'd recommend bumping up the size to 200 meters.
