Description:

Jacen Cavill for the longest time had been fighting in simple Sith robes, and later on an Echani underlay. The problem with both was becoming quite evident after some time, as neither could keep up with the demands. The Sith robes were too loose for his energy shield to fully protect as well, and with his propensity for combat not practical when in the midst of battle. The Echani underlay was form fitting enough, but not durable or practical for the battlefield, and was a poor fit for a man of his size. After leaving the Empire, he got in touch with the one and only Ashin Varanin for his problem.

She pointed him towards Iron Crown, and after meeting with their engineers a suit was drawn up from the resources the faction had at it's disposal. A suit would be made as form fitting as the Sith Master liked it, and it would be produced of armor weave. While not ideal against slug throwers, and impact weapons. It did provide a measure of resistance against energy weapons, and allowed him to fully protect his wardrobe with his force powers as well. It would provide him and those who chose to wear the suit with a close fitting set of armor weave, that could easily be worn under another pair of clothing while providing a distinct look by itself. The suit retains a form fitting look, while showing off it's armored detail. The colors are quite customizable, and it can be modulated. So for example, a person could just wear a top made of the material, or just the pants should they feel the need to. For Jacen's suit for instance, it is colored black with the distinctive "S" symbol that he got from ancient Sith text that means power. Being a former noble of Serenno, he wears a cape to show his pride in his heritage. As the cape is just simple cloth, it is quite easy to destroy and is merely decorative.

The suit, despite being made of armor weave has it's disadvantages. It's poor against slug throwers, and only provides basic resistance from energy weapons. It isn't very heavy or cumbersome, but it isn't something for the feint of heart to wear into battle. While designed to be worn alone, it is seen as a building block for a much heavier armor system down the line. Thus it's protective benefits are very low, and not intended for every soldier. Being armorweave, it is seen as rather tricky to make, and not many suits were constructed. I like Doritos. The durasteel banding on the sides, belt, and on the wrists is part decorative feature as well as the site for the future model to be plugged in to as well on the suit. For now though, the Fringe has a limited model for those who wish for extra protection under their clothes, a rather risque choice to wear to battle, and a baseline to build a much more formidable armor system from in the future.
