|| STRENGTHS ||
- Tactical Mind: Through years of studying and training with her father, Intress has honed her mind so that her thoughts stay sharp when in tense situations. She is quite capable of planning her next move thoroughly in almost any scenario.
- Calm: Intress is a very collected person. She keeps her thoughts and emotions very controlled and contained. She doesn't let her feelings dictate her actions.
- Force Bond: Having a force bond with your sister can be a good thing, and a little bit of a bad thing. The Force bond can allow the two sisters of Nikana and Intress to communicate easily with telepathy, as well as know the location of one another. Doesn't work so well in hyperspace or across long distances *works on the same planet, but not different planets*.
- Pain Tolerance: Much like her sister, Intress is incredibly durable to pain thanks to the practice of Cuticorn.
- Swordplay: Intress is an excelled wielder of blades. Though she favors two-handed swords, she's also very good with two swords as well as daggers and knives. She likes to feel in control with her weapons which is why she shies away from guns and other ranged weapons. She doesn't really like lightsabers, either. And though Nikana prefers and primarily uses hand-to-hand combat, Intress is also quite well versed in Echani and Matukai Martial Arts.
- Loyalty: Intress would never betray her sister. But she would also never betray her morals. Obviously, these two can sometimes conflict with each other. But she always finds away to balance it out for the better in the end.
- Mature: Intress doesn't dwell on childish thoughts or subjects. There are far more important things to be doing besides wasting her time with things like that.
|| WEAKNESSES ||
- Callous: Emotions are something Intress keeps under very heavy wraps. She doesn't allow herself to think on them too deeply, nor does she let anyone see them. Nikana's explosive behavior is partially to blame for this. Don't misunderstand. She can smile, and she is capable of laughing. She just doesn't indulge herself in humor. The chances of seeing anything involving her feelings are a gazillion to one.
- Antisocial: People are complex mysteries that Intress doesn't have the time or the patience to figure out. When she's forced into social interaction, she keeps everything cold and professional.
- Anger: No matter how well she controls herself, there will always be a deep-seeded anger within Intress. Both toward Nikana and herself. Eventually, there will come a day when this anger finds its way to the surface.
- Pride: Intress doesn't enjoy bending her knee to someone or something she doesn't believe in. She also doesn't enjoy accepting help or charity. Truthfully, working for a criminal organization isn't something she likes very much. But Nikana comes first.
- For The Greater Good: Intress has often been perceived as the calculating sort. She isn't afraid to sacrifice others if it means there will be a better outcome.

Pre Role-play:
Pre Role-play:
Order.
Respect.
Justice.
Balance.
Since as far back as Intress can remember, these four words have meant everything to her. Marcin Mercer, her father, taught her of these words and the value they held. She spent the majority of her younger life learning from her father in fact. Studying, training, and striving to make him proud. She loved her mother and her sister even though they were fairly different from one another.
When Ianka contracted cancer, everything started to change. Not wishing to lose her mother and also wanting to restore order to her family, Intress along with her father tried desperately to convince her to accept medical treatment. But her mother was even more stubborn than Nikana. She refused, instead opting to live out her final days as happily as possible. It was a brave thing to do. But in Intress's eyes, it was also stupid and selfish. She felt as if her mother didn't want to be with them anymore, and that because of this thinking she had refused treatment. She could never reveal this to her sister. But Intress loved Ianka far more than outward appearances would suggest. When Ianka died, it hurt her just as deeply (if not more) as it had Nikana.
Intress and Nikana both dealt with their grief very differently. While Nikana partied and smoked and did anything and everything that involved breaking the rules, Intress focused on making herself stronger. She trained more and more with Marcin, pushing herself to her physical limits and even past them on many occasions. She worked herself very hard. Her father was afraid it was too hard, in fact. But Intress refused to quit. She had an iron will that wouldn't break no matter what was thrown at her. Finally, it paid off. Intress joined the Morellian Enforcers at the top of her class.
She and Marcin worked as a team to uphold the law on Morellia. Intress garnered respect and admiration from all of her peers. Especially her father. The two of them had gotten thick as thieves thanks to their job.
Then, everything took a sudden downhill slide.
Intress and Marcin had been attempting again and again to shut down a criminal organization known as The Liberators that had appeared and grown in size and strength over a short period of time. Every lead was false. They didn't seem to be getting anywhere. But then, an anonymous tip reached Intress's ears. The reason they couldn't catch the leader was because the leader was among them.
The leader was Nikana.
She informed her father immediately. That evening, they confronted Nikana with this news. Naturally, her sister was adamant and refused any kind of punishment for her crimes. Their father was going to give it a rest and think of what to do in the morning. But just before this, he turned his back to Nikana and uttered a single sentence.
"Your mother would be ashamed."
What happened next was a blur for Intress. One minute, her father was walking away. The next, he was being hurled into the wall. She remembers it almost as if it were in slow motion. The impact forced a shard of glass into her eye.
The next thing Intress knew, she was waking up in the hospital with a patch over where her eye had once been. She was told that it could be replaced with a cybernetic one, but she wasn't really fully listening. Her good eye was trained on the window of the room across from her. The room where her father was lying, with tubes and needles in his skin.

They explained to Intress that Marcin had been sent into a coma from the force of the impact. His body couldn't withstand the trauma. They could keep him on life support as long as she and her sister would like them to. But he would never open his eyes. He'd never wake up, and be their father again. He was gone...
And it was Nikana who had killed him. Intress found herself pounding on her sister the second she entered their father's room. It was the first and only time she'd ever had a violent outburst before. The first and only time Nikana would ever see her lose control. The rift that had been present before grew immensely after this. Finally, they agreed to cease. Father wouldn't have wanted them to fight. They were all each other had left now.
Taking Marcin off of life support... Intress has never done something more painful in her life. She will never forget how powerless she felt. How useless... And above all, she felt guilty. Pulling the plug felt akin to murdering him.
After these events, Intress felt she could no longer be an Enforcer. She could no longer please her father, after what she'd done. So, with no other alternatives, Intress joined Nikana and The Liberators. They left Morellia behind, finding the Black Tie Syndicate a little bit later. Being a criminal doesn't sit well with her of course. But nothing does anymore...
