Internal Affairs Conference (All Senators and Jedi Council)

[Vaudin Miir]

Vaudin sat at the long conference table with a stack of datacards, datachips and datapads in front of him. His long horns framed his face as he looked at the datapad in his hand. He wore a frown that was not his usual nonchalant expression. There had been a lot happening of late and it was time for the senate to get involved and make some decisions but first Interal Affairs planned on getting the facts straight and doing proper investigations.

Vaudin took a sip of the scotch he had sitting in front of him and sent messages to [member="Kiskla Grayson"] and [member="Popo"] informing them he was going to review recent events and possibly issue subpoenas for certain members of the republic to be arrested or investigated. He had also messaged [member="Bard of the Hyperlanes"] and the other senators to inform them of the meeting if they chose to attend.

Vaudin activated the Assistant and protocol droids as well as the M-series astromech that would scan for listening devices and weapons. He read a report of Jedi pets openning fire on a forest, Jedi changing sides in battle, Jedi disobeying orders and refusing aid during war, and the list went on.

"Ughh this is gonna be a long day." He said to himself as he waited.

[Ayumi Pallopides]

The message had been vague at best and changing into a new bodysuit Ayumi popped her neck while she walked. Whatever they wanted to gather the group for she wasn't certain but arriving her eyes flicked to the senator who had called the meeting and she remained silent while taking a seat. Taking one of the datapads and just lightly tapping her fingers to go through whatever had been brought up looking for something of interest. She'd wait and see while listening to as much as she could.

 

[Persephone Callas]

It would not be long before the Senator of Hapes would make her attendance, but it would be through a holographic array.

She was currently in her homeworld of Selab, and was presiding over the seasonal festivities and galas of her noble status.

Her cerulean image would filter through, expectant and if perhaps slightly bored. There would show a slight wave of her fan as she fanned her self.

[ Senators, a pleasure. ]

 

[Vulps]

The click of a hardwood cane could be heard against the floor as the old fox made his way to the conference table. With his dark eyes gazing around, he took sight of the jedi and councilors in the room. Not many at the moment, but he hoped that would change with time. Setting the cane against the table, Zarro moved to sit down in his chair. "Salutations my fellow senators."

Sorry I haven't been around lately, but its hard to find things to do as a senator. Hopefully this will be the start of changing that

"Senators thank you for coming." Vaudin said leaning back in his chair, "I ask for this meeting because we have some internal affairs issues that bear discussion."

Vaudin passed around data cards containing several of the missions that had brought several worlds into the republic, as well as the last three invasions of the one Sith and the Graug assault on Coruscant with the following mission the save the slaves.

"I have noted several questionable acts that need discussion, mostly so when I file my reports on the committee's activities, or if, the god forbid, some nut like Jek Floggerty get his mits on the details I have something to back up the republic's actions." Vaudin paused for a drink, "If, and it is a big if, we find some actions need prosecution or further investigation I plan to see it through."

Vaudin leaned back and looked at the data pad. "Lets start with the Mission to Ryloth and go from there."

 

[Ayumi Pallopides]

Ayumi looked at the man with a flick of her eyes and spoke turning her head to give her full attention. "We have more then reports correct? You have talked with or we're going to hear from these people? Anything can be in a report senator and if we're going to review to tear something apart or go after someone we should be damn sure to look them in the eyes." That was what she had to say, it wasn't pretty much she didn't like passing judgement based on soomething that could be biased and only from one persons prespective. Having been there at several engagements with the Republic trying to calm worlds left in the sith empires collapse.

 

[Alan]

Animus walked into the room, and quietly sat in the back. He was waiting for any sort of indication that he would have to go and take care of a problem.

Zarro listened to the starting discussion as he read the datapads, taking in the information to make sure that his words would be sure and steady once he was ready to speak. But for now, he simply stayed silent, looking for a place where his input would actually be required.
