Interest Check - A fleeting mystery

Just curious about who (if any) might be interested in a thread, or potential storyline leading to some kind of payoff involving something like the Black Fleet. I don't have it all worked out in my head, yet, but a series of mysterious adrift ships, all gutted, any faction it doesn't matter... all leading up to a confrontation. Could be a "buddy-buddy" could be a "temporary truce" could be a "race to stop" thread, whatever... but it could be a lot of fun.
