Insurgent Attack On Kai-Ren

Nyx

Insert Hilarious Title Here
As her people moved through the snow, Zoya Cer'Dai knew one thing for certain. The Imperial control of the factory-city Kai-Ren would be challenged.

The plan was simple.
The main force of the insurgents would move quietly until they were close to the outskirts of the city, where defenses were light. The guards would be on high alert due to her broadcast for assistance in the attack, but she could only hope that assistance that came from that plea would be worth it.

Once everything was in position, snipers would begin to pick off guards and the soldiers would charge the defenses, hopefully before they could mount a proper counter-attack.

From there, it would be a brutal building-to-building fight through the large city to the factory itself, where they would push their way to the roof and lower the Imperial flag flying there. Once that flag was gone, victory would go to the insurgents.

But first, they had to make it there.
Zoya was aware that the Empress had promised rewards to any that defended the city, and could only hope that it didn't bolster their defenses too much.

For now, she would time for her allies to appear; then the attack would commence.

Inside the city of Kai-Ren, the Empire's grip was even tighter than usual. The cities garrison had been doubled, almost a thousand regulars and three times as many conscripts, all wielding SIR's.
The factory workers continued their daily routines, their children being the ones forced to take up a rifle. The defenders ranged in age from 12 to 17, most had never even held a rifle a day in their lives.

The tightly-knit streets of the city were choked with smog and soldiers, with snipers on the rooftops. As one got farther away from the factory in the center, patrols thinned out, and defenses were half-hazard.
The factory itself was heavily guarded, Holy Crusader wielding Z73's guarding it.

All personnel were on high alert, and all were scared out of their minds. But they were more scared of the Empress's wrath than of the Insurgents. If they wished to take the city, it would be by inch by bloody inch.

It was cold. Xieza had been walking through the snow for a while now. He was supposed to be grouping up with a group of insurgents to assist them with an attack, but it seemed as if he had gotten lost in the snow. He was still determined to attempt to find them and help them. He didn't bring any of his men with him or anyone else apart of his kingdom because that could have caused some issues. Instead, he brought just himself and he was sure that would be good enough. Snow started to stick to his clothing and he spoke out to this.

"I should have brought thicker clothing..."

He continued to march through the snow while being lost. Perhaps he was close to the insurgents, or their enemies. He sure hoped he was near where he was supposed to be.
