Intent: A protective bodyglove to use in conjunction with any armor that has electrical components
Development Thread: 'If necessary,'
Manufacturer: Kaminoan Armorsmiths and [Ek Griz]
Model: 'Not Applicable'.
Affiliation: Techno Union
Modularity: 'No'
Production: Limited (Techno Union)
Material: Armorweave, Faraday Layering, Solar Converters, Wiring, durasteel boot plates
Classification: Anti-EMP, Tempurature Regulation
Weight: .6kg
Quality: 2
Special Features: This suit contains an advanced temperature regulation system which protects both the wearer and any electronics worn under the suit from extreme heat or cold. This suit also contains Faraday layering which protects from EMPs. However, the wearer must be grounded for the EMP protection to work, if an ion/EMP weapon is fired at them while in the air or in space the protection is ineffective. Finally the surface layer of the suit is made of solar absorbing material and can be wired to any electronics, providing a passive charge.
Description: This suit was designed to compensate for the highly technological nature of the Obsidian Order's Obsidian Armor. It was designed to protect the sensitive electronics from conditions that would prevent it's function: EMPs, extreme tempuratures, and lack of a power source.

Advantages:
Light
Cheap to Produce
Sleek

Disadvantages:
If damaged will not function well
Solar charge is only enough to power basic systems, no droids or weaponry, just navigation and life support systems
Must be grounded for EMP protection

Ah. What if I added wires the went to metal plates that could attach to a boot sole, and just mention that if the wearer isn't standing on something the EMP protection doesn't work? would that be fine?
