Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Act One - Jingi Naki
Act Two - No Miryoku

She had worked in the tunnels, assembling the pieces of metal while reviewing her notes. With the manipulation of crystals and the holocrons that Rave had given her. She had information on how to infuse the lightside through arcane means... Not the best but she had some practice with it. Then she had been working on things while the scraps of metal she had found were in the molds. Hammers and tongs for her work as she was slowly worked to create the heat and infuse her prize. A weapon that would use what knowledge she had learned in various things as slowly the crystals she had were being ground to dust. Force crystals, solari, mephite, kyber and ones she had gotten from Zak when he was working on his pearl. The dust something she could slowly work on each grain with deep down with art of the small, the construction of the blade with her own blood to bind it to her and become an extension of her within the force, solari crystals to pulse with the lightside and the final part would be consecrating it within the water's of the lightside to create a force lattice to harden and sharpen it. She had plans for this blade as an ultimate tool of the lightside of the force.

Description:
A basic design laboriously cared for and worked in a forge using songsteel smelted down then reforged with metal scraps from old pots, plow and nails. Anything on hand really while wood is added to the fire with different sized charcoals to add carbon into the sword from the heath. Straw is added and stacked while it gets a metal sheet placed underneath it. Once the metal is white hot paper is added on the sides as water is slowly poured into it. A cast iron ladle for the metal scraps to be steamed and used to maintain the temperature during the process.

Then the forging begins with straw being added while water is poured every so often to keep temp. With the melted metals being poured into the mold and the carbon, the straw and charcoal all working together the first of many sections is cast. Then hammered metal slowly forms showing small vacancies while two different hammers are used. A small one to guide and a larger one to strike firmly upon the anvil. The small imperfections come slowly to the surface and are removed throughout the process.

The metal is folded transversely and longitudinally. At each folding stage, the songsteel is heated and cooled down by water again and again. This procedure oxidize the surface and removing these oxidated layers greatly reduce the content of impurities inside the songsteel blade as it forms. The process is repeated and done over and over nearly twenty times with the the small hammer is used to fold in transverse folding while the big hammer is used in longitudinal folding.

After folding which produce kawagane and shingane respectively, another forging step is added. The scraps are forged again in the shape of a stick once more and cut uniformly about 7.5cm long. This blade has a tight microstrucutre and a grain pattern can be expected after this step and the uniformity of the carbon content that is improved. Then more metal scraps and songsteel are stacked in a cross manner as the three blades are forged.

All three blades are forged together to to form the final shape of the blade by the use of the small and large hammers. The ends of the blade are formed one flat and the other at an angle as the blade is set. A whetstone is used to smooth it out and get the rest of the imperfections out of the blade. As the process continues the clay is applied. The clay mixture which is high temperature resistant thanks to the work of the forging process. At first the blade is cleaned to eliminate any oil or impurities on the surface followed by the coating of iron dust while the next sequence begins.

In general, it's known as a mixture of clay powder, stone powder, and charcoal powder. Clay becomes hardened during the initial forging step and sticks to the steel surface firmly. The thickness of the clay coating determines the cooling rate in quenching. Stone powder is bigger than clay so that it minimizes the the compressive stress of clay during drying. On the other hand, the charcoal powder is burned out in the hearth before quenching and produce a micro-void inside the clay coating. These numerous micro-voids produce micro-bubbles by vaporization during quenching and increase the cooling rate.

A final coating of clay is given with a brush delicately and the clay coating is hardened a little and set in a fire for more forging. Charcoal, pitch and straw is used to heat it to between 720 degrees Celsius and 780 degrees Celsius with the smaller pieces applied to the fire and prevent the clay from peeling off. With the process being done and the heat slowly increased a stronger and harder to accomplish style can be applied strengthening the blade.

The force energies of Matsu was slowly pushed into the blade, throughout the forging and making as small amount of blood and incantations took place but nothing compared to others. Instead focusing on force weaponizing the materials so it glowed with her force aura. Once the sword attains the right temperature, it is quenched into the water box. The water temperature is another important factor as well as the speed of quenching. In this stage, the cutting edge bends more because of the forging transformation of steel and songsteel which resulted in 4.4% volume increase.

There are several factors which determine the success of blades creation. They are mainly the clay coating thickness and its composition, quenching temperature and cooling rate, and the swords dimension to endure the tensile stress at the cutting edge. To relieve the residual tensile stress in cutting edge, another small layer of the clayed water is applied sometimes. The process will also increase the curvature of the blade and Matsu worked to fix this and prevent too much.

With the blade done Matsu set about with a polishing stone to bring a sheen to the blade until she could see her face within it. The songsteel being darker with the songsteel and as the whetstone is applied to sharpen it down to the finest point. The jedi master focused bringing the hammer while the sword was set into the lacquered wood then bound with resin. Using the hammer Matsu struck the length of the blade bringing her name to it as she lifted the katana letting her eyes measure along the length. It was an image of near perfection but it was missing something while the sheath for it made from wood on Cazador was polished.

She slowly continued to work with the metal, focusing on the dust and smallest pieces of it while breathing in the force energies. Matsu held her hand out over the melting metal and slowly slit along her palm. The blood mixing in as slowly Matsu worked it with the force, the art of the small to divide and slowly bind the blood to channel the force energy into. Her training and will were pouring into it as the jedi master used her connection to the eye of the sun as the powerful force stone empowered her abilities. Now she was pushing it into the blades formation to slowly construct it from the base up, crystal dust slowly binding to the blade before allowing the blade to set into its mold. She slowly started to add more crystal dust from blood jewels and pontite crystals with her focus and force energies to bind it, to shape it in the mold while it was still hot before she pulled away slowly from it. The small diagram and notes created for the construction of this were there looking over the notes taken from the holocron provided and the information from the other sources she had worked to gather.

The heating and forging of the metal continued, the force was pouring through Matsu deep into the blood that was bondings and creating the alchemical blade. She wasn't one to claim she had mastered the skills but the ancient magics of the force could be used in a stronger way here while her attention was on the mold and the white hot metal in there. Over the fires she was stoking with wood and the force, her energies going into everything to empower and form this weapon. Sections of it on the anvils she would be able to strike while working on the blade once it was pulled the first time out of the fire. Her energies and power when the blade sat there was cooling down as she pulled it out of the fire for a moment allowing the force to dissipate the heat and convert it slowly into the metal. Matsu held her attention when the moment came and she was able to remove the unhammered and shaped metal but she could feel the potential as the lightside energy resonated with the solari crystal within it. Her connection to the lightside working it as she used her own blood and force energy to make it her tool.

The first look at the blade as it was cooling from white hot to dull cherry red and able to be shaped and worked on by Matsu... wasn't as impressive. She knew she would be working at this long thing for awhile. She brought it to the anvil and was slowly working on the metal. A hammer coming to her hand as she slowly started working on it, the force energy going into it with each strike to strengthen the metal while she was slowly folding it from a large several foot long piece of metal into smaller and smaller sections. Strengthening with each strike as well as slowly it folded in half with the cherry red metal looking a little hotter. Matsu focused on it to excite and keep the inner flame slowly working the metal more and more with the hammer and tongs.

Matsu let out a breath as she continued to breathe in and out, the energies of the force coming with each strike of the hammer and she was keeping the heat within the metal stoked under her own power to shape it while she was working over the sections of metal. The hammer striking down as it resonated through the force and the room revitalizing her. The art of the small working to bind and shape slowly while the blade came to its full length, folded metal over folded metal with the final form showing in a raw form. The length of the blade smaller compared to some but she was working slowly to smooth it down into the finest point, small microscopic grooves being formed along the edge towards the tip. Matsu backed away from it as she held the blade in her hand sliding it into the water to cool it for a moment while steam rose with a sizzle. She brought it back out and sat there as it was hardening with the force, crushed force and blood crystals in the mixture giving each molecule of the blade a feeling of the lightside of the force. She touched it again and it felt like a battery for her own energy.

Matsu let out a breath as she was sitting there, the fire she could keep stoking with wood and some force power but she was tired and letting herself rest for now. The amount of force energy she was needign to expand to create she was getting more used to on a smaller scale but this was larger. Slowly her shoulder though were expanding and reaching down deeper into herself and pulling at every ounce of strength she had within the force. The more she dug the deeper the well within her seemed to get while she trained and while she worked, this was an intense feeling and despite some things she actually did have Kiskla to thank and the council for betraying her. Their actions allowed her to find something within that was there buried beneath the logic and the connection to the force. Resolve and an iron will that would keep her going to the point of following further with her research and learnign from the Aing-Tii, that would take her to the Zeison Shal and the Jal Shey, the Fallanassi and Disciples, The Shapers and the Mutaki, the jensaari and the luka until finally she had her home within the jedi. Now she sat there the product of ten sects and teaching utilizing all of that plus what skills she had learned to become smarter, faster, stronger.

Her ten force sect journey not withstanding the jedi master stood and stretched as the sword was hot and folded with everything. Slowly she took it while grabbing her hammer to slowly start pounding the hilt of he blade into something thin that she would encase in the wood. The raw appearance of the metal blade unsharpened with the groove along the edge for the line she was going to give it to really slice into armor and skin. Matsu finished off the tip of the blade as it gleamed before she set it in the water and looked like a dull blade. Now she was finishing it off as the tang for the hilt was left to be covered in wood that she had slowly setup and ready to be molded to it. She set the wood around the hilt letting her force energies slowly start connecting and sealing it while hardening the hilt of the blade. A keiburr shard from Mimban being inserted into the blade while she felt the energy from it just a little. A small decorations that barely showed off the surface giving a purple oval.

She was working upon it, slowly smoothing the surface of the blade until it was gleaming and her finger slid across not feeling a ridge or imperfection along the blade. The crystals and the dust within the mixture making the metal sting her bare palm just a little. Blood diamonds were good like that before she was thinking about a few things and slowly worked with her finger to create a small groove and symbol. Just above where the hilt of the blade was that looked like the symbol of the jedi. Matsu held it at the hilt as she raised the blade up and felt the power within it, more force energy pouring into it slowly to give the blade a cherry red glow within it that almost swirled. Slowly Matsu brought it back down letting the water roll over it as the sizzle came showing the force energy humming throughout the blade. A bowl of clay and water being made off to the side to coat the blade and she was working on the molecular sharp edge.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
The clay water continued to be applied in coats along the blade as it slowly began to glow, all of her force energies were within it as she focused allowing the art of the small to let her coat it and fill the powers of the blade with force to continue to develop it. Her blood altering the metal while she infused each molecule with force power to make it into a lattice for later. The internal of the sword hardened and sharpened as the clay coated it with the specialized molecule thin tip. Leading the way up the length of the blade to the tip that she could just see in the force and worked to sharpen to the point it was a powerful edge. Her hands were going to the whetstone she had to work with to keep sharpening it, her other hand was working on the blade as it became a force weapons slowly being empowered with the force creating a lattice throughout the crystal, metal and blood infused molecules. The internal fire of it making an ethereal glow within the blade that had it warm to the touch with force energy.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
As Matsu was holding the blade she raised it above her head, slowly working on it and with it sharpened the jedi master continued to infuse it. She moved holding it in her hands before moving to a target while her eyes closed along with what she was doing. Then she opened her eyes and looking at the sheen on the blade while the jedi symbol at the hilt of the blade glowing an ethereal blue against the ethereal red glow of the blade. The force hardening and internal lattice within the molecules making the blade able to be a sharp and powerful blade that as she slashed sliced through the training and practice dummy. Matsu was working with her force energies going along the blade while it seemed to react to the lightside of the force glowing a bright white and she slashed with it, sending the lightside of the force into the blade as it came out in an arc being sent into the wall and there was a small arc being shown. Matsu breathed a little deeper while she was looking at the lightside blade feeling it as an extension of her own power and abilities.
