IMPERIAL CONFEDERATION
CHARROS IV, MID RIM

Joseph Torson navigated his cloaked Dagger-Class Infiltrator through the field of debris as he made his way towards the Mid Rim Charros IV. This planet had once been the site of a one-sided battle between the Mandalorian Empire and an Imperial Remnant, and now was the site of a Mandalorian forward operating base known as Fort Hardhome, which they intended to utilize as a staging ground for future campaigns into Imperial space. After the Sith-Mandalorian attacks on Tion and Lianna, it was all too clear what fate awaited the many worlds that had once stood with the Confederation. Nothing but death, destruction and ruin, at the hands of a barbaric power that had no right to stand as one of the dominant powers in the galaxy.

As such, Torson found himself being dispatched to Charros IV to gather intelligence on the Mandalorian base and give the Imperial Security Service a backdoor that it could utilize to monitor Mandalorian operations and give an advantage for the remaining Imperial forces that were scattered across Imperial space. Donning a set of Mandalorian Armor salvaged in the aftermath of the joint Republic-Mandalorian assault on Lola Sayu, and gathering a couple of Service Droids to help him accomplish his task.

While Torson had infiltrated highly secured locations before, such as the Galactic Alliance's Senate Building on Fondor, this was his first time infiltrating a Mandalorian base proper. Unlike the Galactic Alliance, however, he was unfamiliar with Mandalorian society and its customs, which did present a major obstacle to his mission. Still, he had decades of experience, and with any luck, his current disguise would be sufficient enough to bypass the base's security and get what he wanted.

Before long, Torson's Infltrator would make landfall at an elevated plateau overlooking Fort Hardhome, his vessel still cloaked, as he stepped down from the ramp and made his way towards the edge of the plateau. Fortunately for Torson, the weather conditions favoured him as heavy rain hammered the area, reducing visibility, an advantage that significantly improved his chances of a successful infiltration. Using a console attached to his vambrace, Torson activated a pair of Service Droids and sent them off towards the Mandalorian Base with instructions to stay out of view and find a nearby console to attach themselves to to begin the first phase of the operation.

Hopefully, everything would go well, as millions of Confederation personnel and citizens were counting on his success to secure their future. His failure would doom dozens of worlds to the wrath of Mandalore, and Torson had no intention of allowing such a dark fate to happen.
