The void was a comforting place to Lirka, and in these new trying times it had been a place she had come to visit much more commonly. It was a simple trick really, Lirka felt no need for a great complexity to her piratical ways: her worn down freighter, refitted since her days fleeing from Rhand, drifting helplessly through, showing little life and screaming out a distress signal to anything nearby. And so it sat, aimlessly floating around the darkness of space with only the light of distant stars as a comfort
And within that veil of deception, hidden away by the worn hull of her craft sat a monster waiting to devour any who dared tread too close. Within the cockpit, two glowing eyes looked to the blackness: it would seem that the next of the potential prey approached…
