Ignis knowing this, Contacts Atheus about needing a pair of gauntlets that will be able to be used with Fire Shaping, as well as his MMA fighting style. Providing Atheus with the Kiin'dray leather by aiding the CIS.
Atheus now uses Taozin leather to provide lightsaber, and blaster resistances. The gloves are great for reducing impact upon the fists, however, anything more powerful such as a hammer blow, or being hit by a much more powerful kinetic strike, it can bruise Ignis, or even still break bones.
Another addition to the Taozin is the ability to hide a person within the force. While the gauntlets can do this to a great degree, it is not perfect. Anyone trained specifically in finding or sensing the force can still find him in the force, as well, should Ignis be carrying any force imbued, or items enhanced by the force, those can still be felt.
The knuckles have padding around the fingers to dampen the possible damage Ignis could cause to himself while punching. As well, the glove portion is not made out of Taozin leather. Thus should Ignis try and catch a lightsaber like others could with any other kind of lightsaber resistant material, He cannot. It would go right through his hand.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Iron Grip: Using the Kiin'dray Leather provided by the Verd Clan, Ignis can hold onto weapons, gear, or other items and even people with grip that won't easily be broken.
- You don't sense anything: Using Taozin leather allows for Ignis' force signature to be reduced to the point of nearly being invisible to the force. Much like the Taozin amulets worn around the neck, only in the form of gauntlets.
- Very High energy based weapon resistances. Including lightsabers, blasters, and other laser weaponry.
- Allows Ignis to be nearly invisible to the force much like a Taozin amulet.
- The gauntlets allow for Ignis to have a grip that cannot be easily broken. Having one hell of a grip, weapons or items can't be ripped from his grasp without some massive persuasion.
- While the bracers have fair defense against kinetic damage, and superb strengths against energy weapons, The bracers are not at all great against slashing or piercing damage. Swords can easily cut this leather compared to natural thickness of a Taozin per the processes of making a very thick hide into a thinner leather to be worn. A simple blade can cut the leather with some force, and anything with the cutting ability better than that of a Vibroblade will shred it.
- Very low resistance to kinetic impacts. Protects against punches and a few scrapes and bruises, but hammers, or massive impacts will easily break arms.
