Description

In the wake of the Paecian Empire's decision to conclude its isolationist policies, the nation commissioned the creation of "modernized" armor for usage by its Imperial Troopers. Stargo Defense Enterprises, one of the Empire's first business contacts in literal centuries, gladly accepted this task and assembled a spiritual successor its Jagged-class Royal Stormtrooper Armor. The process by which the armor was created began with a critical analysis of the aforementioned precursor model. While versatile due to its numerous designs, the Jagged-class was simply not cost effective in light of a simple fact: it was very seldom that every model was used regularly.

As such, the design teams decided to save the budding Paecian Empire a large sum of credits by narrowing the successor model down to a single form. Based upon the standard variant of the Jagged-class, the Imperial Trooper Armor was born.

To begin, the Imperial Trooper Armor consists of a comprehensive assembly of plates affixed to a flame and heat-retardant body glove. The armor is completely sealed, thereby offering its wearer protection from a variety of biological and chemical threats. Furthermore, the material of choice was Armorplast: the ceramic version of the common Durasteel. While this material carries a larger price tag than its metal sibling, it does afford advantages that are well worth the cost. First and foremost, Armorplast is considerably lighter than Durasteel; thereby allowing Imperial Troopers to move about much more freely than the average soldier. In addition, the material enjoys the same durability as Durasteel; with the added benefit of excelling in the area of blaster protection. Lastly, the totality of the armor is of onyx hue; thereby affording Troopers some degree of camouflage on the field of battle.

Defensive capabilities aside, each suit of Imperial Trooper Armor also includes a helm with a suite of modern capabilities. From an internal comlink to an oxygen filtration system, each helmet is thoroughly equipped in order to provide the wearer a fighting chance on the field of battle. As a whole, the Imperial Trooper Armor is regarded by SDE as an excellent successor to its Jagged-class model; and as always, satisfaction is guaranteed!
