DESCRIPTION
The Imperial Mining Guild also simply known as the Mining Guild is an Imperial-aligned Corporation that specializes in harvesting the natural resources of both Imperial-controlled worlds and neutral planets in order to fuel the war machine of the Dark Empire. Originally an independent corporation, the Mining Guild would soon come under the control of the Dark Empire after it's conquest of Empress Teta and Prakith, two major strongholds of the Mining Guild along with the additional conquest of various mineral-rich worlds in the New Territories. Just like during the era of the First Galactic Empire, the Imperial Mining Guild has been granted exclusive contracts from the Empire to provide raw materials for the Imperial war machine mostly owing to it's newfound connections to the Warlord of the Empire, Marlon Sularen who holds near absolute control over the Imperial Military.

Beyond the holdings of the Dark Empire, the Imperial Mining Guild also maintains a presence within the New Territories and the Unknown Region taking control and resuming many abandoned Mawite and Imperial mining operations in order to continue their eternal mission to fuel the Imperial war machine and further fill the gap left by treacherous corporations such as the Trade Federation and the Arceneau Trade Federation

RATIONALE
When the Dark Empire launched it's initial offensive into the Deep Core, it came to control the worlds of Prakith and Empress Teta, both major strongholds of the Mining Guild. Shortly after the Battle of Coruscant, the Mining Guild which had managed to retain some degree of autonomy after the Empire's initial offensive was nationalized and placed under the control of the Imperial loyalist Okono Dukkha who would assume the position of Chairman of the Mining Guild and beginning the process of expanding the company in order to ensuring autarky for the Empire and centralizing it's economy through the Mining Guild.

After the corporate embargo and the Battle of Tython in which the Empire emerged victorious, the Warlord of the Empire Marlon Sularen would establishing control over the Mining Guild through his own Imperial-aligned shipbuilding corporatioin SularenCo, with the once-prestigious and influential corporation now reduced to a mere subsidiary of SularenCo where it continues to operate under the direction of Warlord Sularen and IMPERA.
