SPECIAL FEATURES
Interdiction: Able to pull vessels out of hyperspace, and prevent them from jumping
Strengths
:
 • Gravity Wells(4): The Immobilizer II is able to pull vessels out of hyperspace, and prevent them from escaping
 • Defensible: Sporting Reinforced Quadanium Steel Hull and redundant shielding the Immobilizer II is a difficult beast to take down, allowing it to ensure Interdiction isn’t a “one and done” tactic.
 • Anti-Fighter Capability: With most of the Immobilizer II’s weaponry being modular anti-fighter weaponry an individual Immobilizer II might focus more on Quad Laser Cannons or Flak guns, but is able to fend off fighter squadrons without support.
Weaknesses:
 • Big Guns: The Immobilizer II is only equipped with a token Turbolaser arrangement, requiring support from fighters or escort ships in order to take down capital threats.
 • Back Seat: The Immobilizer II has no rear-facing turbolasers, rendering it unable to deal with flanking capital threats.
Description:
Commissioned on order of Moff Balfour, the Immobilizer-II fills a much needed niche in the Galactic Imperial Navy, an Interdiction-Capable Cruiser. A more expensive ship, there aren’t nearly as many of them as other designs, but they are built sturdy, able to take their lumps and defend themselves from fighter squadrons with a large amount of their weaponry dedicated to anti-fighter defense. This, along with some decent engines, allows the Immobilizer to fight long battles and enforce the battleground remaining in subspace.

The Immobilizer-II, while very good at it’s job, is not a ‘self-sufficient’ ship however. Broadside to broadside it simply doesn’t have the firepower to keep up with capital vessels. Proper usage requires that it be supported by other vessels, more equipped to handle larger threats while the Immobilizer soaks up damage, deals with enemy fighters, and prevents enemy escape.
