SPECIAL FEATURES
- Helmet: The helmet of this uniform is outfitted with an advanced HUD. Outfitted with a Commlink, MFTAS, IFF transponder, and a filtration/rebreather system, the helmet keeps up with Commando level technology.
- Torso: The chest piece to this piece of armor, while exceptionally heavy because of the Durasteel lining, provides excellent defense for the wearer. The life support system within this piece of the armor is capable of sealing the entirety of the armor for several minutes, protecting the wearer from the harsh vacuum of space, or drowning from being underwater too long.
- Waist: The waist to this uniform is outfitted with a fully stocked utility belt. A holster for a vibroweapon on one side, as well as an E-11 blaster rifle holster on the opposite side are provided. An external Comm unit, a homing beacon, a thermal detonator, and a small rations pouch are held on the utility belt.
- Cloak: The Armorweave cloak, while heavy, offers a primary, yet minimal, line of protection against blasterfire and lightsabers.
- Boots: The left boot of every set of armor is outfitted with a sensor scrambling device, that can be activated by pressing a small activation pad on the inside of the boot.
- Resistant: This set of armor has a healthly resistance to Blasters and Lightsabers.
- Outfitted: The armor is made to aid in the tasks of the modern Imperial Guard, because of that it is heavily stocked with many systems and devices to aid in their duties.
- EMP Susceptible: The Systems in this armor, particularly the life support system are highly weak to EMP technology.
- Heavy: This set of armor is heavy. From the Durasteel lining to the Armorweave cloak, it is incredibly heavy and long time in the armor or sustained strenuous activity can cause long-term physical problems.
With the foundation of the Galaxies first Galactic Empire, there was the induction of an organization who made loyalty, honor, and service the base of their beliefs. The Imperial Guard have stood watch over the Emperor since the reformation of the Empire.
To preserve the life of the Empire, a uniform was created that would preserve the life of the Imperial Guard. The crimson armor, that earned the guard the infamous title, "The Red Guard" was made out of a Plasteel base, the torso lined with a strong durasteel plate. This made the armor highly resistant to blaster shots as well as survive an assault from a Jedi/Sith lightsaber.
From head to toe, a series of systems and gadgets aids the wearer in his duties. Yet, appearances must be maintained. To keep a regal and refined look to them, the Imperial Guard are clad in a long flowing cloak, that hangs down and covers the armor beneath.
