I'm stepping down As FO And we lost Coruscant.

Now before someone says that I'm stepping down due to our recent losses, I am in fact not doing that. In RL I'm working two jobs and most of my days end up as 12-14 hour shifts at work and with one of those jobs lets just say the boss is a big ball of stress and verbal abuse. This has caused my muse to literally run for the hills in the rare moments that I have time to RP. I'm not only stepping down as FO but I'm also going to take a loa for quite a while, most likely 1-4 months at the least. (To explain Erebos's absence he was captured by the mandalorians)

SO what is the purpose of this thread/announcement? Well the vote for the next FO of the one sith. To begin with I would like those that want the job to step forwards and then nominations can be made along with votes to the next leader.

I can vouch for [member="Darth Erebos"] reasons, as my main been in duel with him for quite some time.

Good luck in the future
[member="Darth Erebos"] corrected dyslexia and phone, did not work correct. :D

Dang it, Erebos! I feel for you, and real life problems can definitely interfere with writing.

That said, since no one else is volunteering for the leadership, I'll go ahead and do so. Doesn't seem like the group has all that much fight left in it, but, ya do what you can, and hopefully we at least make things interesting if we're going to fade away.

In the past, I was fairly certain that we allowed other people to nominate us, but with the general lack of activity, and the fact that the past four or five Owners have left in such a short time, I can sort of understand why we're asking for volunteers at this point.

Still. :(

So it's official I nominate [member="Abelain Narv'uk"]

He is active and helpful. He is willing to write with anyone, loyal to the faction, and listens. He's a testament to what a One Sith member should strive to be. :)

Before this character's betrayal....I, along with Rev, Vrag, Sage, and Matsu worked hard to build up the OS after the event a year ago. We claimed 15 planets in four days.....it can be done again with the proper leadership. However, from what I've been reading is that most want to see the OS "fade into the shadows and strike when the time is right." I can respect that....but I can't believe that!

There are some that think the OS should fizzle out....and I agree. 100%. But the Sith never die....we just regroup and become strong again.

Someone posted that we should go minor...no. What we should do is redefine ourselves and form a stronger Sith Order....with a complete belief system taken from past Sith Empires (OS, Lost Tribe of the Sith, Bane's Sith, and ancient Sith Empires) that reflects a new beginning. A glorious ERA of the Sith. An ERA that will stand the test of time. Why? Because no Jedi Order can truly exist without the balancing force of the Sith.

For such a concept to work....we would require input from those that want to see this occur...a leader that wants to see such an apparition to be born. A leader that will not only listen, but will take the proper measures to ensure such a ghastly existence occurs.

So for this....

I nominate three people.

[member="Reverance"] (help is there if you want it) or myself.....cause I'm filled with ghastly ideas. If neither are acceptable to anyone.....then I would nominate [member="Darth Ophidia"] (help is there if you want it)

Now for my character's part......she was deemed a traitor, a heretic, but it takes a monster to create monsters.

[member="Darth Venefica"] So you mean a new Empire that would use the knowledge, philosophy and correcting the mistakes of those past incarnations of the sith to grow to a strong and a force to be reckoned with?

Allow me to clarify.....

One doesn't need to create a powerful faction based off cannon ideas (OS for example)....one just needs to be creative. So rip, borrow, steal ideas from past Sith Empires/Orders to create something new. The GA are not cannon in their ideas....they just accept the holier than than attitude of killing darksiders. Blinded and misguided, but not cannon. Even the other mock Sith Factions base themselves off ONE belief....closed minded and lacking creativity.

All I'm really saying is that if a reboot trickles down.....then let's be creative.

Grand Admiral, First Order Central Command
My main concern is that a week ago it looked like everyone was content to let the OS just go inactive.

Maybe thats no longer the case. Whatever people decide I support. If the decision is to go minor (presumably because the Sith decide to go underground and regroup) than I would emphasize the importance of RPing out the chaos and rise of minor warlords and the like that would result.

Also worth noting that if we stay major expect an invasion from the Mandos shortly.

Everything that you've said is 100% made of awesome, and it can be done through going minor, but as [member="Cyrus Tregessar"] points out. RPing it out would be best, I have a former Imperial TIE Fighter and I could be persuaded to create an actual Sith Acolyte if needed to help this cause.

Going minor allows the OS to rebrand itself, find its footing and go from there. The OS isn't in any shape to take anyone on as far as IC opponents. Also, may I suggest something: The Empire, that's it. No galactic, no sith, and no one sith. Just simply, the Empire and it looks good on sidebar tags. It also breathes in all of what this faction can be, which is the Empire. There were suggestions a few weeks ago about structure OOC but for now... If you go minor, do it with pride and with passion the way it's meant to! Sending a fully armed battalion, or two, to remind the Galaxy of the love that the Sith and their loyal followers have for it.
