Nemene sighed, as if Mia was a disappointing dog. She shook her head, and then slowly slid the lightsaber back on its tiny strings tied to her thigh. The Raven Haired Queen frowned slightly, leaning down so she could speak to Mia in a whisper.
“Then I will show you deaths door.” She let the rest remain unsaid, perhaps after Mia came close to death as possible, she would change her mind. Slowly, still pressing Mia into the floor she lifted up the other side of her dress. There in the same small black strings that her lightsaber was tied with was an array of small glass vials, each one filled with a red sloshing liquid not dissimilar to the consistency of freshly spilled blood.
One by one Nemene pulled the vials from against her thigh, placing them gently into the palm of her hands until six of the lay end on end on her soft fingers.
The glass clanked together as Nemene closed her grip around them. Her frown grew into a smile, and slowly her heel removed itself from the back of Mia's neck. With her free hand she gripped the womans hair, wrenching her upward onto her knee's. She did not move to replace the chains around Mia's arms, those would be useless now. Instead she used the chain previously holding Mia's right arm to collar Mia, wrapping the chain around the womans throat before locking it in place.
With the Mandalorian secure in place, Nemene quickly began her work. Grabbing a long length of tube and a plastic bag from the table, along with a tiny valve Nemene set up a small siphoning system quickly, then placed five of the six vials into a small device, fitting each vial with a small plastic tube that formed together into one, eventually ending in a needle.
“Hold Still, pet.” Her words were deadly calm, a surgeon speaking to a patient. She placed the first needle with the empty bag into Mia's Femoral Artery. Almost immediately blood flowed upward through the tube and into the empty bag. Nemene watched it for only a moment, before slowly sliding the other needle into Mia's Carotid Artery. The small machine began to whirr, a pump activating. Slowly the red liquid began to pour from the vials, and into Mia's body. “This...”
She trailed off slightly stepping in front of Mia's good eye holding the last Vial of red liquid. “Is something called Deveronian Blood Poison, well, a refined version of it. The poison is said to be the most painful thing in the galaxy, its hurt is so great, that supposedly those touched by a single drop often kill themselves.”
Nemene paused again, watching the vials empty and the blood bag fill.
“I am replacing a pint of your blood with it.” She said it as though it were a standard procedure. “The poison will remain in your system for weeks, perhaps months. You will know suffering, pet. You will know it truly.”
Slowly, Nemene turned away from the woman, walking away from her and leaving the room. She had a procedure to perform after all.
