STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Not Just a Jedi: Ihsan's prior military training has offered him a unique tactical insight, allowing him to apply new strategies to various combat encounters

Iron Will: Thyrsians are a tough people, and Ihsan is no exception to this. His life revolves around combat, and he will stop at nothing to achieve victory upon the field of battle.

Jack of All Trades:Having been trained in Echani, Thyrsian, and Mandalorian martial arts (as well as studying various forms of lightsaber combat), Ihsan is an incredibly well-rounded fighter.

Master of None: Focusing on multiple forms of combat has been beneficial, but goes hand in hand with a lack of Mastery. Ihsan has traded mastery for versatility, making him less skilled in each form of combat compared to a master of that particular fighting style.

Close to the Chest: Ihsan's secret Ashlan faith presents a unique problem for him, as he is also a devout imperial knight. Being caught between the two has proven hard to balance, and even harder to keep under wraps.

APPEARANCE:

Being a Thyrsian, Ihsan has the same dark hair and skin of his people. His demeanor is monotone, and slightly cold. His dark hair is cut very short to avoid inconvenience when fighting, and his wardrobe is heavily based on function over form. He is practical and efficient, and it can be seen with a single look at him. When conducting official Imperial Knight business, he dons a suit of Imperial Knight armor, which has been modified to appear more like the armor of the Thyrsian Sun Guard. He keeps his lightsaber on his waist at all times, even when at home.

PERSONALITY:

Ihsan is a man living a double life, and as such, tends to keep much of his personal life to himself. He's not one for conversation, save for when necessary. His demeanor gives away very little, making him a bit of an enigma to his comrades. In public, he is a devout member of the Knights, and a dedicated follower of the tenets of New Imperial doctrine. Behind closed doors, He is a man of deep faith. Ihsan believes in the Ashla, and as such, conducts himself in adherence to Ashla's teachings. Though this doesn't counteract his loyalty to the NIO, it does create a bit of inner tension within him. Being pulled between two worlds, he is often finding himself at crossroads known only to himself.

BIOGRAPHY:

The life of a Thyrsian is to learn of challenges and how to overcome them. Ihsan learned this at a young age, fighting his way through others to show that he was the best. That all changed, however, the day he saw his father again. Ihsan's father, though a fellow Thyrsian, was a foundling of the Mandalorians. Having been raised by them, Ihsan's father spent many years off world, dealing with the many threats that befell the Mandalorian people. Eventually, once it became clear that the threat was now the Sith Empire, his father came home, ready to fight alongside his own people. Through the years, his father trained Ihsan in the arts of Mandalorian combat, hoping to prepare his son for the inevitable clash with the Sith. Unfortunately, he would never see that day come.

One day, Ihsan's father left, having received a distress call from one of his Mandalorian comrades. He left in a hurry, never to return. It wasn't until weeks later that they had received word that his father and the Mandalorians with him had been wiped out, killed by a group of Sith inquisitors. Ihsan was broken, filled with confusion and rage. Not knowing where to turn, he immediately enlisted in the military, hoping to hone his skills even further so that he would follow in his father's footsteps.

Ihsan showed great promise, and eventually, his Force sensitivity had been noticed. He was promptly selected to join the Imperial Knights, a decision that changed his life forever. Ihsan took to the life of a Knight quite well, exhibiting the ability to learn things quickly, and apply them with relative ease. His varied forms of training allowed him to set himself apart from many of his fellow Knights, and he quickly rose through the ranks. Yet, despite his success, there was still that hollow feeling deep within. Ihsan would find himself searching for answers, and eventually found himself back on his home planet.

It was on Thyrsus that Ihsan first discovered his faith in Ashla. A stranger and fellow Thyrsian sought him out, proposing that he had the answers that Ihsan so desperately sought. He soon discovered that the man was a member of a small, secret Force order that taught the ways of the Ashla away from the prying eyes of the NIO. Though Ihsan felt conflicted about joining such an organization, he couldn't help but to feel as if he finally found a way to fill that void he so desperately needed to address. Once again, he found himself rising through the ranks, eventually becoming the leader of the Knights of the Sunlit Temple. Now he lives two lives, one dedicated to the Empire, and one dedicated to personal faith.
