Name: Ignus Industries Headquarters

Classification: Industrial/Commercial/Business facility

Location: The facility is located in the city of Thani on Telos IV, in the Telos sysem, along the Hydian Way, situated near the industrial sector, but mostly bordering on it with the industrial areas of the facility kept to that side and the business and commercial areas opposite.

Affiliation: Owned by Ignus Industries, a public enterprise.

Description: This facility is the galactic headquarters of Ignus Industries, a pioneering leader in arms, armor, and small vessel design and construction. Ignus Industries is currently owned by the Mirialan, Leos Palle, an up and comer in the business world. It bears no affiliation to any faction, does not endorse any faction, and is open to business with anyone and everyone regardless of their alignment or affiliation. This facility is their initial facility and paves the way in arms and armor while providing business spaces and a commercial center as well. Dominant locations within the facility are as follows:

  • Office of the CEO, Leos Palle
  • Ignus Arms and Armor, manufacturing center
  • Ignus Retail, a retail store for their mainstream goods
  • Port Ignus, for commercial goods and private transport
  • Central Ignus Security, providing security for the facility
  • Ignus Labs, a research facility

History: When Leos Palle decided that he needed to begin amassing domain within the galaxy, his initial instinct told him to do so in a public manner. This would thereby create a more secure point of holding when it came to dealing with his fellow Sith Lords and Ladies. The creation of Ignus Industries came about because of a need for capital gains, and the creation of a great public image by providing goods without the strings of influence. By servicing anyone who wishes to purchase their goods, they thereby avoid the stigma of favoritism, or sticking their fingers in the political pie. It additionally puts Leos in the public's eye as a businessman, and not the Sith he is.

The choice of Telos IV as the location of the headquarters was predominantly due to its position on the Hydian Way, as well as its history of excellent commercial culture. At first the facility was a mere research and production location, with goods being shipped out to retailers for sale, but as profit rose, further construction expanded the facility into a business, retail, and industrial center all its own. This spurred planetary tourism by individuals that desired to purchase their goods, especially with the withdrawal of their goods from retail markets throughout the galaxy. In essence, they created a buyers marked on Telos IV, causing a population and industrial boom on the world which brought it, and them, much prosperity. This in turn allowed for the company to expand to another Hydian Way world.

With the expansion came the necessity for a centralized security center and its own private starport, as well, providing further jobs, and creating a safety net to prevent outsiders from easily sneaking in and trying to steal trade secrets. Security is on an isolated network, meaning it can't be sliced into from the outside, and has a single, central terminal in order to consolidate efforts. The security staff is made up entirely of flesh and blood individuals rather than droids. This central terminal is also the location of flight control for the starport.

Intent: To create a location submission for the expansion of the planet Telos and for use in the great feudal game currently being constructed in a certain Sith faction.
