STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Strength: Seven Classic Lightsaber Combat Styles Trained - During its original tenure, IG-198 was trained by its General in The Seven Classic Jedi Lightsaber Combat Styles, its combat training still remains in some forms, allowing it to be effective when taking on Jedi using these styles.
Strength: IG-100 Frame - Due to its design the IG-100 Frame allows for super-human acrobatics, speed and combat ability, in addition to being made of daranium allowing it to survive glancing lightsaber and blaster rounds without suffering major issues in addition to being hard to destroy.
Strength: Malfunctioning - Due to its malfunctioning protocols, IG-198 doesn't suffer as badly as its fellow units had done during the Clone Wars from a repetitive combat style, its mind no longer allowing for set patterns to be followed causes it to attack relentlessly and rather unpredictably.
Neutral: Damaged Matrix - Starship Combat - IG Units were trained in starship combat, their primary focus was dogfighting with fighters. This current information is damaged and blocked from the droids access, restoring it could be useful to those which try to control it.
Weakness: Damaged Memory Circuits - IG-198 suffers from a lack of memory of its earlier missions and objectives, though it retains much of its training it no longer remembers its past, or even what model or number it is.
Weakness: Malfunctioning - IG-198 currently suffers from malfunctioning operational protocols occasionally cropping while it is active, due to its duty as an assassin of force users, it currently may turn on them at less than a moments notice.
Weakness: Damaged Central Photoreceptor - IG-198 had its Chest Photoreceptor damaged during combat during its original Operational Period after receiving an explosive strike to its central chest, which caused it original deactivation, this Photoreceptor while still viable to work is cracked and heavily damaged and does not provide efficient optics when compared to its two head born Photoreceptors.
APPEARANCE:
IG-198-SD follows the normal pattern of any IG-100 Series Droid, its colouration being Alabaster, a Stoney, Creamy White. The units Right arm has numerous light blaster and saber scarring that was never repaired, most of its original paint scheme has since worn away from a mixture of sand, space and combat leaving just the original colouration of the duranium.
In addition its Central Photoreceptor shows signs of significant damage, the protective shell and the chestplate around the photoreceptor show signs of massive damage caused by a thermal detonation, alongside the cracks their is significant darkening of its chestplate's outer metal layers.
BIOGRAPHY:
IG-198-SD a member of the IG-100 Series Magnaguard produced by Holowan Mechanicals during the Clone Wars for The Separatist Droid Army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, their design specificly optimised to do battle with jedi with their Duranium Frames, Though the unit was designed to be a bodyguard, its role would change leading to its reclassification.
IG-198-SD was a unit deployed onto desert planets during its Operational Time during the Clone Wars, Its role specificly was the elimination of Jedi located or operating on Desert Planets thus its additional subdesignation SD (Sand-Duster), produced alongside the other Magnaguard and see combat training at the hands of Gen...*error**error* In the combat styles of the Jedi learning their classic and original styles by swear survival against their master.
A short time later IG-198 would be deployed to the field, dropped planet side alongside a cadre of commando droids, its duty to eliminate Jedi Target - *Error* their Padawan and their Clone unit on Planet - *error*, the droid would strike with its unit in the middle of the night, having its Commando's breach first to draw the attention of the Jedi's Clone Troopers.
*Fragmented, Broken Combat Recordings* IG-198-SD would engage the Jedi Knight in Droid to Humanoid Combat, using its Electrostaff to do battle against the Jedi's Lightsaber what was once a indoors close quarters fight, soon ended up on the sandy grounds as both droid and jedi tried to feel and gauge each others weaknesses. The Jedi would be killed by one mistake on the battlefield putting others before oneself, The Droid choosing to target the Jedi's Padawan as a feint, before recoiling back using its Electrostaff to disarm the Jedi before snapping their neck.
As per its training the Droid would check for signs of life by shocking points of the humanoid, though the stimulus would end as expected, The droids downfall would be leaving its back to its Commando Droids, the Droids had failed in their objective, before IG-198-SD could engage with the Clone reinforcements, it was struck by a thermal detonator to the area around it Central Photoreceptor *End of Footage*
Over the years since, IG-198-SD was downed in combat, it would remain dormant lying buried in the sands, with its cracked and damaged central frame and its Central Photoreceptor in a bad condition, during that time after being rediscovered and sold on through the black market through multiple owners hands as a statue of sorts, a trophy to display, IG-198-SD would be lost while in storage transport through the void, its canister along with others would be lost and be left floating in the void.
