Description: The XX-12 is the successor to the old Tiam and Bak XX-9 heavy turbolaser. Unlike the XX-10 the XX-12 is solely a starship based weapon system. The massive amounts of power required are provided by a bank of 4 dedicated reactors and a bank of overcharged Capacitors. these work in concert with the vessels own reactor giving the turret a redundant power source ro accelerate charge and bolt strength. The turret houses two heavy cannons which are each as powerful as two standard heavy turbolasers making the overall power profile of the weapon equal to a heavy turbolaser battery or four heavy turbolaser cannons. The hull of the turret is made from durable quadranium steel giving the weapon excellent defensive strength from starfighter scale weapons light capital weapons.
