* Range Effective - The RH-12 Targetting becomes less effective over five kilometers
* Slow Rate of Fire - The RH-12 requires a significant charge to fire and has a Rate of fire roughly half that of a laser cannon.

Description: The RH-12 is the direct descendant of the old RH-8 laser cannon used on frigates during the time of the New Order. Mounted on the same turret system as the NK-4, the RH-12 housing is constructed of Alutsteel making it a light weight platform and giving it some protection against fighter scale weaponry. The mount houses two heavy laser cannons with roughly twice the power of a standard laser cannon each. Advanced targeting systems give it superior tracking and targeting capabilities in close ranges but drop off at long and extended ranges.
