Description: The IFW Vindicator-class is a modernized upgrade to the previous Vindicator X-class heavy cruiser. The IFW Vindicator-class can operate as stand alone patrol cruiser, a heavy escort for larger vessels, or as a flagship for smaller forces when needed and uses its fighter complement and heavy weapons to stand off against enemies when the mission does not require a larger destroyer.
As with the original, the propulsion systems consist of one large fusal thruster and four smaller fusal thrusters fed from an Ionic thrust system. They Solar ionization reactor powers these systems as well as the weapons and other systems aboard the class
Ferrocarbon/Agrinium mesh Frame utilized durable ferrocarbon as the base for the frame of the vessel. An Agrinium mesh network is wrapped around the frame forming a faraday cage completely encircling the vessel in an energy network which can absorb and dissipate energy such as electromagnetic or ion energy. This system of frame construction presents a highly durable skeleton for the vessel and offer superior anti-em and anti-ion defense.
The IFW Vindicator-class has a powerful defensive weapon load with for point defense from attack craft, Light capital vessels such as pickets and corvettes, and Incoming projectiles and warheads. These systems have been upgraded with modernized versions of the systems and consolidated in many cases for better coverage and power consumption.
