Description: A suit of personal armor which scrambles Force signatures in the manner of electronic countermeasures.

Other Feature(s): The lacquer is made from the still-living flesh of the Force-nullifying taozin, using biological alchemy. Once amplified by shards of alchemical crystal inside the armor, the effect is to scramble the identity of the wearer's Force signature. The wearer can still be sensed and detected as normal, but is difficult or impossible to recognize based on Force presence alone. Apart from the lacquer's effect, which could be described as a watered-down version of the effect of a Taozin nodule amulet as carried by Imperial Inquisitors, the armor is nothing more or less than standard alchemical plate.

Weaknesses: Although the weight is well distributed over the body, forty pounds of armor does tend to limit mobility and flexibility. For example, it is difficult to use Sokan, Ataru or some manifestations of Juyo and Vaapad while wearing this suit.
Furthermore, as depicted in my signature, every suit of armor has gaps which can be exploited. Also, a major impact or explosion will not pierce the armor, but will certainly bruise, break ribs, or otherwise jeopardize internal organ function.
The armor conducts electricity, so its user had best be an expert in absorbing and deflecting lightning, and broken presence of mind may lead to electrocution.
The greatest weakness of the armor is its wearer's vulnerability to heat. Although a lightsabre will not cut or even damage the plate, lightsabre strikes do heat individual portions of the suit considerably. Sustained contact or repeated impacts to a specific part of the suit will cause heat damage to the wearer. Similarly, to wear this armor on a cold world like Hoth or Rhen Var, the wearer must know tapas.
