I'd take one in the temple

Location: Temple of Illumination
Chalacta in Hutt Space
As a newly minted Acolyte for the Sith, Briga felt more and more out of place on her home planet of Iktotch, despite the Church of Ax’no becoming more popular and lucrative than ever, not just with the caprinean population, but the more fickle Iktotchi. Preaching prophecy and prosperity, Priestess Tiin’s following was growing.

But so was the blackness in her heart. She’d grown distant, remaining aloof from her friends and confidants. The worst treatment was shown towards her handmaidens, one of which she had disfigured, the other two just tormented until they trembled in fear at the sight of her. Praise be to Ax’no that no one could slice her open right now to inspect what was inside. She feared her heart would be rotted to the core, with nothing but gravel-maggots and parasites feeding upon it until it was liquefied.

She took refuge with an adept at the Temple of Illumination, seeking solace and advice from the Chalactan Adept. As part of being a Priestess herself with a congregation, she often mingled with those of other religions, for reflection and study.

“You tell me my aura is as bright as fire, but all I see is thick, grey clouds like smoke,” Briga complained to the lone Adept in the temple after she’d scryed for a time alone in one of the meditation rooms.

“Fire, water, air, earth. You are all of these things,” the Chaluctan said in a calm, even voice, with only a trace of a tremble in it.

“Even I can tell you are frightened be me… and what you see in me,” she responded glumly.
“Perhaps the smoke is just from the fire that burns within you,” the Adept said before he walked away to continue his stroll around the temple. The horned mystic was now alone - alone with her secrets – dark secrets - and possibly information either for the right individual with a proper amount of credits or for someone who would deign to take that intelligence by force.

A very interesting specimen. A Caprine. Creatures that could be very brutal, yet very beautiful. however, this one seemed to take from both sides of the coin. Very nice face. Not even wigged out from the horns from her head, and the body shape was very human like. Just a little bit different with the fine hair. I knew that even from the distance in which I was from her. This one in particular was rather lost. She was confused, and almost alone. Should I? No. I need to do something else. Not be an ass. Well, here. How about this?

I moved from my spot within the rafters. Moving silently. Seeing as how I have had years to perfect this, it was very unlikely she could hear me. And considering they didn't have good hearing too begin with? Not that hard. However, she was Force sensitive. How powerful was she? Enough for a challenge against me, but someone that I could kill? Possibly. I could die as well, but this was a gamble.

Seeing as how I was not of the force, I had to be careful about how to approach her. I had made my way to a small corner in the wall. And using my arms, I pressed against either side, and did the same with my legs. Shimming down with very little sound. I didn't carry my usual weapons. Only my sidearms, and my knives. Walking towards her, I was sure she could feel me within the force. If she was good enough, she could feel every living thing.

Yes, as an Agent, I had information on people, things, and ideals that others may not. Including the fact that she would have precognition. A force power that allowed the user to get a glimpse in the future to avoid incoming attacks. How long would she last? I wouldn't know.

Pulling out my sidearms, I let the be aimed at her head. A good 10 meters away from her.

"Miss Smoke and Firery stuff, Do you mind if I call you that?"

And as soon as the words left my lips, I lit her up like a Christmas tree.

Briga couldn’t hear the man who lay in wait for her. By genetics the Caprine had notoriously bad hearing and audial sensory skills. The mystic would make up for this through her other senses, but at the very moment he crept up, she had little idea what was about to unfold, except for her eye caught on a flock of birds startled by the shuffling around in the temple rafters.

But she did feel something, a ripple in the Force. At the lift of the weapon to her head and the strange voice, she dove down to the ground and tumbled with animal intensity. She may look human, but she had bovidae genes that, enhanced by the Force, allowed her to spring like an antelope and leap like a gazelle. Her Master, Darth Prazutis, Director of Intelligence for the Sith, had also taught her martial arts basics and was honing her flexibility and athleticism.

The Caprine mystic quickly pulled herself into a crouch. She would need to move fast – he had tried to execute her right there in the temple - but there was always time for words:

“You can call me Miss Smoke, if I can call you Mr. Dead,” she growled. Out of time for an incantation however; Briga focused her energy on the intruder’s mind. She’d been practicing mentalism with her handmaidens, at times giving them boons for agonizing torture sessions so that they would feel less pain. She’d also used it on others in less savory situations, and at times, illusions – for example, when she wanted a mundane Church of Ax’no business meeting to end. Briga summoned a vision of three Chalactan Adepts running into the large worshipping room, waving their hands in protest, a distraction so that Briga could recite a spell to trap and disarm, what she believed now, to be an assassin.

I had my target. Now it was time to keep it under a watchful eye. She didn't have any visible weapons on her. Either hidden, or she was using abilities and pure strength to fight me. I smiled as her words were trying to comeback at me. She was quick though. Her skills in moving were fast to avoid slugthrowers. Walking forward, my boots thudded upon the floor as she was crouched. Staying low as possible. The smaller the target, the harder to hit idea. Sure that may have worked a little into her favor. I'll give her props for that.

Three near-humans just seemed to appear in the room waving their hands wanting me to stop shooting. Really? A Force sensitive with skills of the Mind. You see, no doors had opened, there was no shouting to rush here as far as I could hear, And why would there suddenly be three of the same species in the same room, when this was a place that could allow for many to be here? Little fishy there, but I went with it. I simply raised my guns at the three, and fired three rounds. Each bullet had their name written all over it.

However, when I paid attention to them, the bullets didn't do anything to them. The thump sounds I heard were not of a body being hit, but of bullets hitting the walls behind them. I realized what this was. It was a scam. I then aimed for the woman. Knowing it may be too late, I fired three more rounds at her. Something was off. I couldn't tell if these people were holograms, or illusions. But with how the Caprine were not very battle like, I would assume she would be a Mentalist, or some kind of mental prodigy.

"How about you stay still so I can ask you a question?"

The Assassin would quickly realize the gesticulating Chalactans were an illusion the moment his bullets sailed right through their bodies. Although Darth Prazutis had warned her of not traveling with the right weaponry, she did have a vibrodagger strapped to her thigh. Otherwise, the Caprine wore a long gown with voluminous sleeves – the type of roomy and comfortable garment for worship and meditation, not for fighting.

He had no ordinary blaster either, and Briga wasn’t sure her telekinesis was strong enough to halt the bullets when he finally unleashed them on her.

Chanting quickly – had to be quickly as it was a long incantation - in ancient Sith, as he fired upon the fellow Priests, Briga said, "Age kizs amzius, ri tutsi shiyi tsosûtidisi sas ri siajuâ wos ri skysosûtas; ri doti diâ ra kata shiyi-"

She rolled and dodged another round of bullets, her heart beating as fast as a hummingbird’s wings.

“Ensnared diâ wohmniyizi ri riyiyazi diâ warmoné, diâ rariu, ir wisa ri shirsijia iw shukita, shiyi ai nia succored ri wodwtaki,” the horned mystic finished as he challenged her to remain still. Briga ejected dark tendrils of energy from her hands, and the inky ectoplasm sailed towards the intruder. Dark Side Web would immobilize him if it the Force web hit him straight on.

As I fired upon the woman, I could hear a loud, and rather frantic shouting from her. She was trying to move away from me. To keep distance between myself and her. I had to think why was she doing all of this? Was she trying to use the distance as a time waster and to wait for backup, or was she just trying to simply keep the distance? Either way, I wasn't happy about it. I wanted, needed to get closer. However, that would be later as right now, her chanting stopped.

As soon as it did, Black tendrils of the force was coming straight for me, As I was already in a sprint towards her, I used my momentum, and a jump, with the assistance of cybernetics, to leap over the tendrils that were aimed for me. This power she used wasn't lightning. It was a directed attack. it didn't "jump" everywhere, nor was it cracking like electricity would. Hence, why I knew jumping over it, would be good enough to avoid it.

I over shot her. My jump, and speed sent me past her and almost running into the wall behind her, but I was so much closer to her than before. Instead of 8 meters away, I was a good 2 meters. Much easier to hit her now. Firing the the last three rounds from both guns, I tossed them to the side, and sprinted for her once again. The much slower distance, meaning less time for her to chant her stupid incantation. As well, the mind trick that was used against me never went down. She was using constant energy to keep them up, plus the incantation that was used by very few Sith Sorcerers, as it required a lot of energy cast, let alone keep operational. This lady wasn't thinking about the long game.

However, she might have something else up her sleeves. Considering they were rather large to begin with, I could assume you might be able to fit another person in her robes.
