Description: The Scorpion class assult cruiser, was designed to blow holes in the enemy ships. The ship was quite slow and sluggish compared to others, as most of it's power was relayed to shields and it's extensive forward batteries. As such it does not like to be flanked, as it has weak fire rate to ships as they move past it. Though it can still return some fire, it no where near as powerful as it long range forward attack points. Though ship is so focused on destroying other capital ships, it has very little defense from small ships and bombers, though it usually comes with has two hangar bays, as this is the only things it would have to deal with it.

The scorpion only supports long ranged weapons, as such the decision to use them, means they intend to let the enemy close on them. They tend to stand at the formation, and blast the enemy as they approach, and then reverse into formation, as they fire.
