I have a plan....... RUN!

Oh did I hate headaches. Rubbing my temple with my hand I heard a chorus of clanking sounds. Opening my eyes I saw that I was chained at the waist and feet. I was clothed in my usual attire of a tank top and ripped jeans and combat boots, But I was missing my weapons. Every single one of my weapons. hell, even my rings were taken from me. Looking around I saw trees, shrubs, grass, dirt and more trees. Thoughts flooded my head of a forest and I was chained to something. Looking down at my feet, I saw another pair?

I turned my head to see a woman with blonde hair and clearly in some kind of slumber, ether by drugs or a good sock to the head. I couldn't see her face, or anything else of her as our waists were chained together. Light flooded my vision as a powerful flash light was pointed at my face. I tried to cover my eyes but my hands were grabbed by metal gauntlets and taken away. "Looks like freak one woke up." A man who clearly smoked spoke to another who was too far away for me to see clearly. I shook my head and let it hang down so the light wouldn't blind me. "Hey, tat freak, look up." Rolling my eyes I looked up at the man to get a nice fist to the face.

He hits like a fething hammer. I could hear my brain rattle in my skull. Now with him hitting me so hard I fell over with the woman chained to my back. Groaning I tried to look back up at the man as he walked away laughing. If I was chained to the ground alone, I would have already melted the iron links already, but as the woman was behind me, I didn't want to hurt her. Hell I didn't even see her face. As the man walked away I shimmied up and down to try and wake her up and whispering in a hoarse voice, "Hey lady, Wake up. Lady, if you would so kindly wake up, then maybe we could get out of this situation?"

It was pitch black, then light slightly came to her face, as her eyes slowly opened and closed. Barely conscious of anything around her she knew she was laying sideways. She heard someone talking t her but she could barely make it out. She started to come to, and where she had awakened was not a place she recognized. It scared the crap out of her, and she realized she couldnt move; every time she did she heard the sound of chains rattling. Her head quickly came up, as she struggled and struggled, only wasting what energy she had left. She moaned, and groaned out of being disoriented, and sore. She felt the presence of others around her but could make them out. There was one she could physically feel behind her. She tried to look back, but she just couldn't.

She kept trying to figure out what it was or who it was, she scratched and pulled at what would be a shirt. She kept hearing a faint voice which she found out was coming from the person behind her. At least he was dead which slightly put her at rest. "Ugh...yeah...yeah I'm here..who are you?" She asked in a faint, drained tone of voice.

I sighed as the woman behind me awoke. I tried to stay still as she kept moving side to side. "Shhh, don't move any more than you need to." I turned my head up to give her a better sense of hearing. "Look we need to get out of here. And we have to be quiet." I took my hand and brought it around to give her an awkward handshake. "The name is Morna, and we are chained to eachother."

I just shook my head as we were laying on the dirt. Clearly alone in the woods with two men who were drunk and had a death wish. With my feet out straight I thought of an idea. "Alright, I want you to press your back up against mine so we can sit up, Can you do that for me?" Really all I wanted to do was to take on the men with my powers, but I didn't want to get this woman in trouble or think that I actually was a freak that controlled fire at his fingertips.

She nodded her head at the mans words. This definitely wasn't a place she wanted to stay, but this guy...Morna...seemed like he knew what he was doing. His voice brought hope, but she herself was a Jedi, so it was clear that them both working together could figure something out. She brought her hand around to gripping his, and shaking it. "And I'm rang.... And yes, I see that." Even though he seemed like he could help her at least get out of these chains, she wasn't quite sure why he was here, and she was soon to give him a hard time. She looked around as much as she could, given her current position. It seemed as though they were just alone, in the woods. She frowned, and started throwing a fit, "I just don't have time for this!.... Ugh." She stopped throwing a baby fit as she had tired herself out. Then she heard the man give a suggestion. "Yeah why not?" She said sarcastically, and pushed her back up against his, doing as he asked.

As Rang and I pressed up on each other's backs. Getting us upright. It seemed that the two men left us. Smiling I turned my head to speak to her. "Don't worry I'll get us out." Moving my hands to the chain in front of me I grabbed a hold of two links and heated my hands. Slowly the chain heated up and to the point where it was malleable. Smiling I twisted and with a snap the chain broke.

I turned around and faced the woman, "Now its time for us to get out of here."

She had pressed her back up against his as to aid them both in sitting upright so that he could do whatever he was gonna do in order to deal with the chains that held them both together. She turned her head slightly to the right to see if she could get a good look at whatever he was doing. She nodded her head as his reassurance on getting them both out. All she could see was that he gripped the chain and then that's when he pulled it out of her limited line of sight. She heard the chain snap after a while, and it fell to the ground around them, freeing them both. She brought her hands in front of her, rubbing her wrist from the grip the chains had on them. She turned and looked at this man who she had just met, she had on tattered robes, that were loosely fit. She gave him a quick nod, and stood up. "Yeah your right, have any idea where we might be?" She said questioning him , as her head looked in multiple directions.

As we both turned around I saw that both of our feet were still in chains. Leaning down I put my hand on the few chain links there as I answered her question. "No, currently I don't know where we are." The chain heated up to where I could bend it and with a snap it broke off. Doing the same for mine I stood back up. "Now since the other men went that way," I pointed to the left without looking "I say we go this way. I then pointed to the right. In the dim forest that we were in, trees seemed everywhere, and no one should be here alone.

She watched him go down to deal with the chains that were connected to their feet. She squinted her eyes as she watched him heat up the chains until the finally were able to be bent, and snapped. "Thats a really cool power you got yourself there..." She said placing both her hands on her hips. She was gonna say something but she decided to leave it for later. He briefed her on where they should go now, and she nodded heading in that direction. There were just so many trees, and in the back of her head, she was kind of glad she wasn't alone. She didn't know where she was, where her weapon was, or who she was with. She turned over to the guy, as they kept walking, "So Morna, are you a sith or something?" She said finally asking him what she was goi to back where they were locked up. She needed to know, regardless of how rude it came out to be.

Taking the cuffs off of my feet I began to walk with Rang. I could tell that she was a Jedi, giving compliments about powers, and then she asked if I was a sith. I thought about it for a second and shook my head as we walked. I turned behind me as I did so. checking that we were not being followed. "Not really." When I turned back around I almost ran straight into a tree. It was so dark that I only realized that I was almost going to hit it when it was right in front of my nose. I walked around it stopped for a moment. "I'm a Shaper, Wielder of the Dark side, yes, Sith no." That was all that I could really explain as I didn't want to say that I sometimes worked with them. Even though my parents were killed by one of em.

I lifted my hand up and let it burst into flame. Lighting up the area. Instantly little mice and small creatures darted away from us because of the bright light. "Now lets keep moving."

She looked at him, wondering when he'd answer, but instead he shook his head. She looked down for a second, walking with her arms crossed. Then her head came back up when he actually gave her a verbal answer. Her eyes widened as he almost ran into a tree. When he caught himself, she had been trying to contain her laugh. She brought her hand up to cover her mouth. It was soo close, and it would've been hilarious to her. Then he told her that he was a shaper, her head went slightly to the side. She had heard that somewhere before; maybe in the archives. Hmm either way he wielded the dark side, and that was enough for her to be cautious of him. It was very hard for her to see, it was so dark out here. Before she could say something he had set his hand a flame and produced some light which made it easier. As it lit up the area around them she noticed small creatures, and mice running which made her jump and grip Mornas arm rather tightly.her mouth was wide opened, then she realized she had grabbed this mans arm. She looked over at him, rolled her eyes, and let him go. "Yeah let's... Just keep moving" she said fixing her clothes, and flipping her hair.

With the scurrying of animals Rang grabbed a hold of my arm quicker than lightning. She had jumped when she had seen the animals and I chuckled slightly as she had done when I almost ran into the tree. "Not so great when you can see everything can ya?" I asked with a smile. continuing to walk on with the fire in my hands I knew she was weary of me. Keeping her distance while staying close enough to have light show her way. She fixed her clothes, which wasn't much, and flipped her hair when it was in a mess. Yet I could care less.

I probably had a black eye and a few bruises on my face. Hell my nose piercing was ripped out of my nose making a slight rip in the skin and cartilage. it hurt like hell, but I'll walk on anyways. "Do you want me to give you the explanation of who I am? I mean if we are stuck together we might as well know who we are?" All I knew was that the woman walking next to me was possibly a Jedi, and thought I was someone who I was not.

She scrunched up her face, as he chuckled at her. It was most likely karma from when she laughed at him. Though she shook her head no with a sad expression on her face at his question. She hadn't thought he would notice that she was keeping her distance, but she was wrong when he asked her if she wanted a explanation of who he was. She rolled her eyes, "Yeah sure, why not? I mean, guess it wouldn't hurt.." She said folding her arms and taking a step closer so that she could engage in conversation. She stopped, and looked behind her for a second, and all she saw was darkness. She had gotten a strange feeling, like maybe something was following them. She shook her head, and kept walking near him as they began talking. She noticed that this guy was pretty beaten up, she only wondered what she looked like. It kinda made her nervous, especially with the type of girl Rang was.

Smiling Rang kept looking back. I only shook my head as she said that she would listen. So I started. "Shapers came from a group of Imperials that crash landed on an unknown planet. There were only a few hundred of them but after thousands of years they grew to a few million. They are a group of people that keep to themselves and don't like the use of technology that you have. I am one of them but I left when a Smuggler crashed on our planet. He took me to Courscant where I learned of everything here." Turning around quickly I threw the ball of flame down the tree line that we had just passed. Watching as the flames light up the path we were walking away from. I quickly made another one to continue walking forwards.

Seeing that no one was there I looked back at Rang. "Inorder for someone to use the shaping powers they have to use some of the darkside. Hence the fire manipulation." I wiped my hand on my face to see blood rub onto my hand. I shrugged my shoulders like it was nothing. And it really wasn't. I mean, I had stopped a bomb with my own body, got stabbed four times in the stomach and then stopped a building from falling on me. A ripped nose was nothing.

"Watch your step." I said after stepping in a sink hole. "So who are you?"

She looked over at him as he explained in more detail exactly where he came from and who he was. It was rather interesting, and it kept her attention. She she followed his hand as launched a fireball behind them to give light to where they had already been. When she saw that nothing was behind them she felt at ease a little. She made sure that she hadn't moved forward until he had made another one. When they started walking again they reengaged in conversation.

She shook her head in conjunction with his words, speaking at the same time as him "Hince the fire manipulation." She chuckled as it was pretty funny. She widened her eyes when he shrugged off his open wound like it never existed. She shook her head and looked off in the other direction as the continued walking, to only be stopped and warned about a sink hole that she would've fell into if he wasn't there.

She suddenly looked over back him when he asked who she was, "I'm.. A Jedi... I don't really have a a magnificent backstory." She said looking down at the ground. "I have been fending for myself for the longest... Nearly starving to death until I was found by my first, and only best friend.... Who dreamed on becming a Jedi...and th...then she was killed in gang crossfire... Now I'm living her dream." She said with faint pain in her voice.

I looked down at the ground as I listened. I may not look like I was paying attention, but I was focused on not stepping on anything. "I know how you feel to lose a friend." I truly did. My father and mother were murdered infront of me by a ruthless rogue sith. He had escaped and a Jedi was following him, but they had come to late to save my parents. I turned my head to watch her as the thought that her story was not so great with a smile I stopped her. "Every story is great no matter how small. Every being in the universe has a role to play. and you are just beginning yours."

I moved the light so I could see her entire face as I spoke. "Others have harder pasts, I have met a few people where the only thing they know was death of loved ones. That is where it is our job to help them." As I finished my sentence I had a nerve in my side go off within the force. my eyes widened when I pushed Rang into a tree behind her as a blaster round flew inbetween us. Looking back I threw the fire ball towards the shot and where it possibly came from. "RUN! I'll cover you!"

She had flashbacks of laying on the ground, exhausted, dying slowly from hunger. It was Irani, who saved her. Irani gave her a second chance at life. If it wasn't for her then Rang wouldn't be here. She held her chest, then Morna's voice had snapped her out of her trance. She closed her eyes, when he told her that he knew how she felt. She felt him turn his head and look at her, but she didn't wanna look him in the eyes at this moment. Then he stopped her, and she hadn't a choice. She looked up at him smiling, as his words had help her come to a revelation. He was right, she would've never thought something that wise would've came from a guy such as him. She was stereotyping Of course, which was wrong but hey it happens.

She was greeted with the light from the flame that he generated. The words that he said next were even more true. Rang had always looked at it that way, which is probably why she became a Jedi. She smiled at him, though the moment was quickly ended when he pushed her into a tree. As she slowly got up to see him launching his fireball in the direction from which they came. She looked back to try and see what was going on, but only saw a couple of more blaster rounds. She got up and ran at his command. Though she could barely see she kept running, and a branch sliced her cheek. The wound didn't phase her.

I watched as Rang got up and began to run. Turning back I threw a few more balls of flames followed by a stream of fire that separated the two groups. Us and them. I turned around and started to run. I lit another fire ball and threw it forwards into the sky so Rang could see up ahead of her. I continued to run after her and soon I caught up with her. Seeing as how I had a life of running. sometimes literally I was a very fast runner. As I caught up to her I handed my hand out to her. "Grab my hand! Trust me."

almost on cue a blaster shot flung by us. Even at that, I had nothing to defend me from the blasters except my own powers. As another came at me I raised my hand and the blaster shot seemed to fade into my hand. "Just grab my hand!"

She was running, when she looked over only to see that Morna had caught up to her. She looked at his hand, breathing heavily she continued to run. she began to reach out and grab for his hand, only to see blaster rounds fly past her, making her cover the side of her face. It interrupted them locking hands, and it wasn't helping the situation. Rang uncovered her face, and saw Morna somehow absorb the blaster round into his hand, possibly just another application of his powers. She had sled up and closed in the distance a little between them. When he called out for her to grab his hand once more. She quickly reached out and grabbed it. Him pulling her and them taking off in another direction. She placed her hand on her cheek, and brought it back down to see there was blood in her hand.

When Rang had grabbed my hand I smiled intently as she rubbed her gash. "Hold on tight." I said with a whisper, however it sounded like I was yelling it. Not a second later we seemed to speed up and go faster and faster. Even more when we were nearing the end of the forest. I could see the moonlight shine through the dense trees. Only then did I realize that we were moving to fast for us to stop. and thats when almost on cue, we had no purchace on ground anymore as a cliff ended out route. and We started to fall.

Her eyes widened, and she looked up at Morna. Returning a smile to him. Then he told her to hold on and he pulled her. She was keeping up with him, both of them running at a speed ten times faster than when they were separate. She kept looking back to see if they were still being followed, which provoked him to keep yanking her. As they kept moving they were greeted by moonlight that shined through the trees ahead of them. Then they came to a cliff ledge, but at the speed they were going it wasn't possible for them to stop in enough time. They both fell off, with Rang screaming on the way down. Both of them falling into the cool water at the bottom. Before she knew it she was submerged in cold water. Then she finally floated to the top, emerging from the water coughing.
