OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create an anchor to a future set of alchemized and force imbued jewelry
  • Image Source: Midjourney, generated by me
  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Sithheart Conduit – The choker is the primary anchor of the set, holding the core alchemical matrix.
  • Pulse of Sight – The choker lets Quinn sense not only the location but the physical and emotional state of the other bearers with extreme clarity, including flashes of their surroundings in times of distress.
  • Veilbreaker – With deliberate will and a drop of blood pressed to the jewelry piece, Quinn can draw the wearer through the Force to her side or vice versa bringing her to their location, no matter the distance. The call tears through space, ignoring barriers and hyperspace alike, delivering them seamlessly and shielding them from all harm in transit.
  • Scent of the Blood trail – Through the Dathomirian spell blood trail, Quinn can sense the exact location of the wearer anywhere in the galaxy. The trail is not limited by planetary interference, hyperspace, or cloaking.
STRENGTHS
  • Force Pool Sharing – A skilled meditation ritual allows one wearer to lend raw Force energy to another in battle, temporarily boosting their reserves.
  • Force-Sung Metalwork – Crafted from alchemically forged Desh and Aurodium, etched with hidden runes that hum faintly in the Force when near danger.
  • Force-bond Resonance – When worn the jewelry subtly amplifies emotional and Force-bond connections with Quinn, allowing her to sense their presence, mood, and surface emotions anywhere in the galaxy.
WEAKNESSES
  • "Force Nullification" Vulnerability to Force Suppression – The choker's enchantments are bound to the Force. In zones influenced by ysalamiri, Void Stones, or similar Force-nullifying materials, all its powers (Fold Space, Bloodtrail Sigil, emotional resonance) are suspended until Quinn leaves the suppression field.
  • "Kyber Strain" Overextension Burn – The Fold Space crystal is potent, but unstable. Repeated use in a short span strains the kyber lattice, causing pain, bleeding from the nose/eyes, or even temporary unconsciousness for Quinn. Excessive abuse risks shattering the crystal and permanently destroying the anchor.,
  • "Emotional Feedback" Bond Whiplash – Because the choker amplifies emotional resonance between attached individuals, moments of extreme distress or rage can rebound on Quinn as psychic backlash. If one is tortured or emotionally broken, Quinn risks sharing the full brunt of it.
  • "Anchored to the Wearer" Single Point of Failure – As the keystone of the set, Quinn's choker holds the anchor matrix. If it is damaged, destroyed, or stolen, all other linked jewelry becomes dormant. This makes the choker both invaluable and dangerously vulnerable.
DESCRIPTION
Mercy, as a Vigo of the Black Sun Syndicate, gave the choker to Quinn when she asked her to become her lieutenant, as someone she trusted. The gift marked their agreement and carried personal weight because of their shared past as childhood friends, even if they had often been at odds. Despite the years of distance between them, Quinn accepted because Mercy had always been a constant in her life and someone that has never seen her as a Princess or her station.

Rather than leaving it as a simple token, Quinn decided to make it into something more. Using the Sith alchemy she learned under Taeli Raaf, she reforged the metals and set a kyber crystals into the piece. This changed the choker from a gift into an anchor — a central piece that she could use to build a larger set of alchemized jewelry for those she valued.

The choker now serves as the foundation of that work. It holds Quinn's imprint in the Force. It connects her to the people she chooses to tie to it, making it both a personal symbol of loyalty and a practical tool for her future designs.
