Innoteq...

You've been making some waves and it has piqued my interests. I would like to set a date for personal review of your product lines and to potentially discuss a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Dear [member="Danger Arceneau"],

We appreciate your email and would be more than happy to arrange a meeting.

Might we please request a little more on the nature of the meeting so that we can arrange suitable attendance? If it is to discuss the expansion of an existing line, we can arrange for a member of sales to discuss the opportunity. Alternatively, if you are looking to discuss development, we will arrange for one of our Chief Engineers to head to meeting on our end.

Kind Regards,

InnoteQ

Next Zhellday would be convenient. I imagine that in order to get a good idea of what I am looking for, having you visit Tatooine would suit just fine.

I'll alert Alisha'ven, my assistant and overseer of the South Systems Business Bazaar of your impending arrival.

Regards,

~Danger Arceneau

Jask Gray shifted uncomfortably in his ill-fitting suit. His colleagues always complained that he never bought the most flattering clothes. Jask didn't much care for appearances, as his unkempt hair attested to. He bought clothes that were comfortable and would last a long time. Jask was a man of practicality. He was also a man that hated the heat. The twin suns sat high in the sky. The air was still, the odd breeze bringing more discomfort - in the form of flying sand - that it did respite from the heat.

He waited with his small team outside the spaceport. InnoteQ had several environmental policies - for tax breaks of course - that included using public transport to systems close by. Damned executives still took private vessels to Roon and back, Jask thought to himself. He knew most of his team, someone from sales had managed to tag along of course. He didn't know the red-haired man, but he acted exactly as he expected.

He mopped his brow with a tissue and waited for the speeder Alisha'ven was sending.

One Rutian Twi'lek with a sassy smile would greet the InnoteQ representative before long. "Hi there," she'd say with a bit of a drawl, Basic holding a tad of an accent.

"Looking a bit peaked there, aren't you?" she'd chuckle out, holding out her hand. "Alisha'ven, but call me Alisha." she told him, her eyebrows rising as if to ask - and who are you?

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

"Jask Gray," he replied. "Security consultant for InnoteQ." He added, before waiting for the rest of his team to introduce themselves. He was somewhat surprised when the redhead from sales kept his introduction short and to the point. In Jask's opinion they normally tried to hijack meeting with sales pitches, over facts and useful advice.

"I hope our paperwork came through?" he asked. "The admin team often forget to do things properly. No matter how many times I write the procedures down, they never seem to follow them." Jask ranted. "Oh will there be procedures to review?"

Jask loved reviewing procedures.

"Worry not, it came through," Alisha would say with a smile, checking over his data and respective credentials. A small beep would confirm his identity. Then with a beckon of her fingers, would wave Jask Gray to follow her.

"Come on over... Miz Arceneau is waiting." she'd tell him, tucking away her datapad. She'd show him through the main office area, through the warehouses until they reached a large heavily fortified turadium enclosed turbolift.

"She's up on the second floor," she'd tell him, as the present security would reveal itself. Darkwater agents along with a heavy dose of security droids from Hegemonic Automaton. But there was more to it, and that would be revealed once Danger got to talking.

She'd enter the turbolift after tapping in a small keycode, complete with a biometric hand scan. The hiss of doors would follow, then the small shudder as it would rise to the second floor.

Very good, very good, Jask thought to himself seeing multiple methods of security being combined. More importantly, they already had an extensive and thorough security system in place. That meant this was liable to be an engaging task. At least it was air conditioned inside, the sweat patches in his suit were quite uncomfortable.

"I assume I'll get some kind of pass, even if I have to be escorted, if I'll be here frequently?" he asked as the lift came to a halt.

[member="Raziel"]

"Once a contract has been signed and confirmed, along with a non disclosure agreement for our security, you will be granted an ID and access to our systems in regards to maintaining the highest level of security. Both internal as well as external." Alisha'ven told him as the lift would shudder and rise.

A smile would grow across her face, air conditioning certainly had its perks here.

"We'll get you a refreshment Mistah Gray -- and more comfortable soon enough. Miz Arceneau will see to that." she told him in good humor. The turbolift would come to a slow stop, then the doors would open. A long corridor with more Darkwater guards and rather tall imposing stoic Wookiees would pose as internal security.

Who would soon conduct an informal inspection and scan of his body for weapons.

"C'mon, right this way." she'd say, leading him out of the turbolift and down the hall, towards another set of large turadium doors. Same console and biometric scans.

"They'll be doing some scans on you.. checking for weapons and the like." she would explain, "Standard procedure after the bounty set put."

She would hold out a small scanner, and identity probe that would get a pinprick of his blood to confirm his identity within the galactic registry.

"I hope that this is no issue?"

"In my line of business, no problem at all. I'd just like to be certain the information stays in-house for the duration of the contract and is securely wiped at the end. Is that possible?" Jask replied. The amount of security personnel was insane. A lot of muscle and guns was a good deterrent, he knew. However, it also introduced vulnerabilities. Without proper procedures, it was possible to subvert someone deep within the organisation. Jask love procedures, he hoped he'd get to read some soon. He'd be sorely disappointed if they just wanted products.

[member="Raziel"]

"Yes, that is possible." Alisha would tell him. Nothing out of the ordinary would pop up. Good for him! She did the same song and dance for the final security console, and then the doors to Danger's office would open.

"Come on in Mistah Gray, Miz Arceneau is waiting." she'd say with a smile as she lead him inside. It was a large office, with all manner of Tatooine paraphernalia set in collections around the room. Tusken Raider outfit. Five perfect Krayt Dragon pearls. And upon the wall, a massive collection of arms; from the antique forerunners of the blaster pistol to various big game sniper rifles. It was clear that the Trade Queen had an affinity towards weapons.

"Welcome to Arceneau Trade, Mistah Gray," would come a honeyed coo from the far end, where behind a large polished bodywood desk sat Danger herself. She'd rise slowly, her voluptuous figure coming in sight as she would round the desk in a slow saunter to shake his hand.

"I'm Danger Arceneau."

"Jask Gray," he replied. "Security consultant for InnoteQ," he added unnecessarily as he took the offered hand. He smiled warmly, but was tad flustered. The lonely pencil-pusher didn't really get out a great deal, and he was suddenly racked with concern, fearing that she would notice his often sweaty palms. "What can we help you with?"

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

Back in a side room off the lobby, Jask's team passed some time making small talk over cups of caff. Raziel was busy trying not to itch his scalp too obviously. Clearly, the red dye had caused a minor reaction and even for the spy - a master of self-control - it was torture leaving his scalp alone. He smiled inanely and responded to the InnoteQ staff, half paying attention to them. His focus was elsewhere, he'd come for a brief look around and was so far disappointed that Jask had gone to meet the client on his own.

[member="Raziel"]

"Glad you could join us Mistah Gray," Danger would say with a winning smile. If she took note of his damp hand, she certainly didn't show it. Instead she would flash him with a pearly white smile, and one would wonder at the seemingly suggestive connotation as she'd coo out in a honeyed voice, "Ohh... many things, Mistah Gray. Many things."

"Would you care to join me for a drink?" she'd ask him, full hips moving her voluptuous form over towards her personal bar. "Pick your poison?" she'd sweep a hand to gesture at the top shelf liquor, which included Whyren's best Reserve.

Jask was, in many ways, a simple man. He liked spreadsheets, procedures and filling in forms. He looked up at the shelves of drink and without even realising what was on offer replied: "Just a cup of caff please? Black, extra strong if possible." Drinking at the workplace didn't seen entirely appropriate to him, and he was blissfully unaware of how insulting turning down that quality of whiskey might be to a corellian.

Danger's brows would rise with a note of humor. "Stimcaf?" she'd repeat in query, followed but a small nod. "Would StarCaf suffice?" the caf conglomerate from the Protectorate grew and sold vine-coffee from Belsavis, some of the highest quality found in the galaxy. She would nod at Alisha'ven for the order.

"A cup of StarCaf for Mistah Gray. Black." she would then offer the man a seat in front of her desk. "Please, make yourself comfortable." full hips would amble her path round the desk in turn, until she draped herself on the plush leather seat.

"I do hope your trip went smoothly?" she'd ask.

"Yes of course," Jask replied unconvincingly. He had never exactly been a far of travel. It went with the work, and the work paid well. With smaller clients he tended to send his junior staff out to do the information gathering so that he could stay back at the main office and work out the details. Still, despite having to walk through sweltering heat and a sand blaster to get here he was starting to be pleased he made the trip. The décor was astounding, he had trouble keeping his eyes from the array of weaponry on the walls. The company was pleasant, he had trouble....

"A fine place to work," he said, "Is this your collection or did you inherit it?"

Back at the lobby Raziel's keen eyes watched everything around him carefully. He watched the movements of the security guards and receptionists, he started to memorise the faces of the staff coming and going. He didn't have the luxury of being born with an eidetic memory; his was a learned skill. Trained over years and years of hard work. The house assassin of one of the Hutt clans had once made him memorise a full grid square of a central district on Nar Shaddaa, every street and landmark. Given the vertical nature of Nar Shaddaa the task had been arduous.

An establishment of this size would almost certainly be well protected, perhaps even the odd hired Jedi. Still, he decided to risk expanding his influence ever so slightly and sense the nearby area with the Force. He was a remarkably sensitive Jedi and was talented in the subtle application of the Force. If he was detected, they would simply claim it was part of the service they provided.

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

Danger would give a wide growing smirk, " A little of column A and a little of column B, Mistah Gray. My daddy's family done been on Tatooine for neigh on seven generations. You can say I merely kept on with tradition." a hand would bring her cigarillo back up to her lips.

A small buzz to the secretary would ensure that a fresh cup of StarCaf would be delivered promptly. Afterward, Danger would appraise Innote Q's representative.

"So, Mistah Gray, what do you think of the current security systems you've seen along the premises thus far?" she'd asked, well aware that they still needed to get him access and other data files for a complete picture.

Meanwhile, [member="Raziel"] would normally be considered to be a typical guest. One of the attendants would come to greet the redheaded man. Although as soon as he would make use of the Force, the Force detector placed at the front desk would start to hum with energy.

The security on staff would give a slight frown. These were Force detectors used much like that of the Senate to detect Force users near by when using the Force. A security procedure in the event those with the hoodoo would attempt to infiltrate Arceneau Trade. The use of the Force, after all, was prohibited.

And all Force users under Arceneau's employ were registered.

"Procedures seem up to scratch from what I've seen. Well layered, to prevent ingress. It seems simple, but I've been waved into so mane "secure" facilities in my time," Gray replied. "So, what's the scope of the work, full review? I'll need to know a little about what you perceive to be threats," he continued taking a sip of his drink.

"Hmm, good caf!" he added before [member="Danger Arceneau"] could reply.
